URP ABU, is a department with various professional discipline which includes transportation planning, urban design, planning administration and planning law. The department has insufficient space to accommodate all students registered because classes and studio takes about 100 persons which under University standard is not suppose to be. The department has about 13 PhD holders in various discipline. GIS application is part of the professional course where by students runs their studio and project work using the GIS software. It has about 3-4 professors. The course is a five years program
