KIL is a very beautiful and condusive library for students to study and broaden their knowledge. It is also enhanced with an E-library for students to surf the net and get the proper information to stay up to date in their academics.

The great Kashim Ibrahim Library or KIL as Abusites prefer to call it is a legendary monument in the heart of the main campus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria. It is a giant among its peers not just by size and collection but also by the caliber of personalities it has nurtured and the number of renowned scholars, political leaders, business leaders, jurists, etc who discovered knowledge and wisdom withing Its walls.

Cool place. Not noisy. Good seats. Only problem is the books available are not the ones we use for our courses so they are practically useless for passing exams

Thats the most managed library in Africa, I could say. The staffs works based on shifts an dthere are a lot of sections in the library with lot of digital and hard copy literatures, there is. Also a. Display unit where art works are being displayed.

Kashim Ibrahim Library is the main library at ABU zaria samaru campus. It is endowed with books journals and articles of vast variety of topics, subjects and courses.The library also has reading sections for different hierarchies of student whether undergrad or past grad.The library also has wifi connection so you can study on the internet also.

This is one of the largest library in west Africa. It is well stocked with good books, news papers, magazines, publications, and an e-library. It is currently undergoing thorough renovations.

The place is fantastic for studies and so far in the entire Ahmadu Bello University there is no place that can be compared to Kashim Ibrahim library

The library has undergone renovation recently,Its the schools central library meant for students of all faculties undergraduate or postgraduate, its very big and wide with different sections all disperse in this three storey building, downstairs it has a mini viewing section, toilets and a place for photocopy, bags are not allowed inside and when going out the books you are holding are being checked.

Research and reading Area

This is about the largest single library in West Africa. It has different sections for Science, Arts, etc. It also has a place to watch a news or documentary and a section to read newspapers. The library is undergoing massive restructuring and renovations. Bags are not allowed here and ID card is needed to gain access here.
