This is a fairly large section of the Danfodio hostel. It is specially meant for final year students of the faculties of Engineering, Agricultural Science, and environmental design.It has however been largely compromised and you can even find 100level students in them.They were designed to be a room for only two students but you could find five (5) to six (6) students in some of the rooms.

The oldest hostel in the school ( Ahmadu bello university).... Ummm is pretty good because it was the only hostel that you can Find local food to buy ( fried yam, sweet potato, kunu and the rest.

These are rooms group together and are called blocks with one end fenced and the other open. View picture for clarity. They are arrange in an alphabetical order, starting from Block A to Block L (i.e., 12 Blocks).Unfortunately, this (Danfodio) hostel is too old for human beings to live in, and now the school management have increased the number of students per room which is not good. I wonder what they will gain in making things more difficult for students in these country. No wonder we all want to school in a university outside this country.I just hope things will be better for Nigerians.

Dan fodio is inarguable the best hostel in Samaru here. Although we face some challenges such as, inadequate water supply and electricity cut off, we still love dan fodio, because its like the home to all students and this every respective abusite can testify to

This hostel has been dilapidated and need rehabilitation, because the toilet are not in good conditions for many blocks but the is only concern with accommodating people and not thinking about the health of the students.
