Danfodio Hostel is the oldest hostel in ABU Zaria....... Which has not been renovated ever since it was built. Chances are that it will be renovated this year or next.

The place is a shadow of its former self. It is very old and definitely hasnt been renovated in tens of years.

It’s surprising, but I’ve actually been in hostels that don’t have lockers or that charge you for them. In this day and age, lockers should be standard. You should never pay for security

Ive been in Danfodio hostel for about 4years now. Well, Ill say it has been a great experience. Nothing really special about this hostel, but I bet youll will like it here.

The facilities are not very standard but the proximity and experience youd have beats everything bad there. Its a nice place to stay.

A hostel for Engineering students. Its a very bad place with broken ceilings, dirty toilets, dirty walls but its interesting when you have friends around.

Its a section of Dan Fodio hostel where accommodation provision for students is six per room and is usually for faculties of engineering and environmental design students not in their final years. The other section of the hostel is the old which provides room of two accommodation and is usually reserved for final year students

Buildings are not old but yet due to lack of maintainace are oldNot all the blocks have access to water leading to deterioration of public restrooms

This is the rougher part of the Danfodio hostel. It is home to students of the faculties of Engineering, Agricultural Science & Environmental Design and allocated to students of 100, 200, & 400 Levels.They were designed to be a room for four (4) people but you could find eleven (11) students jammed into a single room under some unhygienic conditions, a lot of theft, fighting, noise and discomfort.Its not all bad as it creates a great bond between undergraduates which bonds them for life.
