University of Uyo is divided into 3 campuses... The Main campus... Also known as Permanent campus, and there is the Town Campus, and Annex Campus which is located very close to the Town Campus.It is quite a big school with a lot of learning facilities. Its a great place.

The University of Uyo may not be the best in Nigeria but I must say that I am proud of the school. I realized that its not the building that makes up the school but the people in it. The school is filled with amazing people from all walks of life. I get to learn, unlearn and relearn many things.

Talking about the area or the environment of the university which is an essential information to Google Maps, I would say, for Annex campus the environs is unpleasant cause it is used as a ranch for cattles and other animals. For the Town campus, saying that it is okay will be disparaging, the area is neat, calm and conducive for both academic and extracurricular activities.

University of Uyo is a university of learning with 13 faculties which are Faculty of Environmental Studies, Business studies, Engineering, Law, Art, Education, Social sciences, Agriculture, Clinical science, Applied sciences etc.The standard here in Uniuyo Is high... I recommend Uniuyo.Thanks

This is the town Campus of University of Uyo. This is a great institution of learning no doubt, but most of the structures are dilapidated. I think if they can improve upon the structures itll be nice but academic wise, I think they are ok. Just so you know, this is my Alma mater graduated here some years back.

This is a Federal government owned university located in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom State.Its permanent site is located at the outskirts of Uyo, at Nsukara Offot, along Nwaniba road, Uyo.Its also my alma mater; for I studied Masters in Human Anatomy here. Im also currently a lecturer here.Its indeed a great institution to study in.It has three other campuses.It has so many faculties, for example medicine, law, science, etc.Ill add pictures later.

Has come a long way. From the days of Unicross to its Ikpa road base to the present main site at Emory Nsukara Off-site. Memories of the startup Glory as a then state university to its eventual conversion to a federal university. The days of Professor Fola Lasisi as Vice Chancellor to the reformatory days of Professor Akpan Ekpo. The Era of widespread disrespect to when its glory was eventually restored.

University of Uyo is one of Nigerias most famous higher institutions in recent times. Established in 1991 as a state university under Cross River State, UNICROSS as it was formerly called had grown throw leaps and bounds to attain its present position in the committee of federal universities in Nigeria. It has thirteen faculties namely: Agriculture, Basic Medical Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Pharmacy, Clinical Sciences, Law, Education, Sciences, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences and Continuing Education. Since its establishment, UNIUYO is having the first female vice-chancellor, Professor (Mrs) Comfort Mmemfin Ekpo. Shes a professor of Educational Technology.
