It was my first time at Posh Suites, I did not know what to expect. The first thing that impressed me was the parking space and the outer setting. There was a big enough parking space which was demarcated by a fence, so while you are, perhaps, sitting out in the cool evening, you would not be disturbed/distracted by the coming and going of cars. It also gave one a sense of safety. You know, you dont have to wonder Is he a good driver? I hope he doesnt hit me. There were also two spacious bars, some edibles being sold there and a good DJ. Getting in, the customer service was remarkable. For example, when I wanted to take a bath, I realized there was no towel in my room. I went down and spoke to the Receptionist about it. She genuinely apologized and got me one. Not those apologies you know one is just giving for the sake of giving. The mattress was welcoming, it could make you sleep past your planned time. Lol. The meal was good, especially the boiled plantain and fried eggs. But, I must say, it took quite a long time for the food to be served. Another point of note is a certain hotel smell about the corridor on the second floor. It had this smell that is akin to hotels, just as hospitals have one akin to hospitals. Its not exactly a pleasant one, I hope something is done about that. However, all in all, Id love to lodge there again whenever Im in Port Harcourt.
I had the worst experience here. Everyone was literally trying to extort me from the security to the hotel attendants. Please dont go here if you are not use to the terrain because it could be really dangerous for you.
