I had an awful experience at St Catherine Hospital, especially with a Dr called Oluchi in the pediatric department . She is a medical officer though. She is unkind, she doesnt listen to patients history nor concern. She is self opinionated and unduly power drunk. The work of doctor deserves caring, listening and being compassionate. She is a far cry from that. I pray she will realize soon that she can offer more to the society especially to children care than she is currently doing.

The receptionist, Margaret by name, made my first experience awfully terrible. The arrogance to even get up and move ,is sickening. I got tired of waiting for the specialist, got up and left the place. Not even a call afterwards, for someone that left Eneka and drove through the traffic just to see a specialist. Im pretty sure my HMO, didnt do their background check before including the hospital in their portfolio

If I can give zero star, I will do this. Just a GP & a Gynae that is on duty to attend to many patients. You end up waiting endlessly before your turn. There was a time when the ENT Dr will take hours to show up for his appointment. Also, watch the what the nurses are taking down as vitals..they might have recorded a wrong figure. When on admission, food is served late. Breakfast at 9am, lunch at 4pm &dinner at 9pm. The manager does not apologise or take ownership of situation &its called a private hospital. Nonsense

Ive used this hospital off and on for about 6 years. Its located off the trans Woji road hence is accessible. However, parking is usually a problem as their parking space is very small. The hospital is being run below its full potential. For a specialist hospital, you never get to see any specialists except a gynae and a GP. They recently did some renovations and computerized data hence they waiting time has improved. The wards for admission is just ok and always has mosquitos. I personally use this hospital because of proximity.
