Its a nice Hotel, with its Chinese restaurant, multi_purpose hall, Event Centre and functioning Swimming Pool. The event centre isnt an upscale building but the rest are. It has wheelchair accessible entrance and cool customer service from their workers, even the security personnel were okay, the environment is beautiful and spacious. But of course, continuous maintenance is encouraged.

Clean spacious rooms but poor services. Couldnt use my international corporate card, local POS didnt work at some point and had to use a First Bank ATM across the road which wasnt working, leaking room from toilet and overall naive and poorly trained staff. I told them its the most frustrating hotel experience Ive had in a while for a 3+- star hotel...

Give it a four ⭐ conducive environment, good staff, state of the art event center

After Asia Town I would recommend this place for excellent Chinese. The best part is that the delivery is very fast and also the quality and quantity of food is excellent. Its not very expensive too. A must try.The restaurants name is Beijing Chops.

Great service, continental food quality is decent. Beds are rather hard and showers have next to no pressure. Apart from that, had a great stay!

I had a nice time at the LA kings hotel poolside, listening to some nice Lifeband and Jazz music. The hotel is simply classic, with event halls and lots of parking space.

The hotel is neat and well kept. The staff are welcoming and orderly and seem to know what to do.

Nice place to stay in Port Harcourt. Courteous front desk staff. However, their food is appalling.

The environment is well tidy up and descent among others.

The hotel is nice, easy to locate just by the road. It has an event centre in the area. Beautiful and clean surroundings, ample parking space. It has a large pool and a pool bar n gym. A restaurant that serves breakfast, a beautiful lounge area and a wall shop were you can buy accessories and toiletries. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious depending on your need. Clean bathroom and nest facilities. Hot tub and they offer room service. Its a nice place. It has staircases and accessible for wheelchair is impossible.

The BON brand has just taken over L.A. Kings and renovations are ongoing. Im sure itll turn out like other BON hotels; classy, effective service, courteous staff, etc. I look forward to it. The Hotel will now be known as BON Hotel Port Harcourt At LA King

Great place but restaurant breakfast buffet seem limited. Not what I usually expect from a Bon managed hotel.

Rooms are clean great, services and attendants were well mannered.Food was wack though and the internet was snail 🐌

Beds were ridiculous hard, shower had almost no water and aircon was not working properly. The staff is nice and friendly.

Beautiful place, great experience but the staff were a bit tardy, especially the front desk.

Had a conference in the main event hall which is right in front of the hotel. The hall was large, well decorated and had good audio-visual equipment. The podium was high enough and could be seen from the back. The restroom was decent enough and the standby generator came to our rescue a number of times.At the entrance is a Chinese Restaurant I didnt get to visit but seemed well setup from the outside. Right beside was an events center with 3 smaller halls of different sizes. Suitable for smaller events although it was significantly less decorated and maintained than the main events hall.The Hotel was well decorated and had a pool, a gym and other amenities and courteous staff. Though I didnt lodge in any of the rooms but the other parts show promise.

Located just opposite Charlies fitness centre, the parking is limited.The hotel is new and facilities are working optimally.The rates are high but it is good value for money.The staff are helpful and efficient. You can always reach the manager if you have complaints.The rooms are beautifully designed and the beds are large and accommodating.

They really need to improve on their services here. The room i stayed and that of my friends where dark, not enough lights. The shower floor files gets slippery when its wet. Very slow services. Food takes about 45mins to 1hour. Cool environment though. Easy to locate. They have a functioning swimming pool. The is an Event hall in the compound and also a Chinese restaurant on your left just as you drive in.

Calm and relaxing with an efficient security. We ordered Chinese and rice dish. Service was prompt and the food was tasty and comparable to restaurants/hotels worldwide. A very comfortable and large events hall, capable of seating 1000 people. Access is via the popular Stadium/ Sarowiwa road, Port Harcourt.

Big hotel, tho the outside looks a bit shabby and worn, the beautiful, new hotel complex behind, more than makes up for it. The pool is not too big, but its functional with a standby life guard. The complex itself...beautiful and great for taking pictures!

Hotel, event hall & Chinese restaurant.The hotel is well embedded within the big compound away from the noise of the road and prying eyes. Lovely environment, good blend of nature and modern amenities, quite cozy. The Chinese restaurant is nice. Although the menu is limited but the food tastes good.Lovely ambience for a date or family outing

The hotel had promise but customer service was poor, AC wasnt cooling properly and was a bit noisy. Fridge wasnt working, when told about these they werent really bothered. Also you could only connect one device on their internet, their staff at the back were very noisy and thats beside their morning devotion which is a disturbance really. I think they should take it somewhere else and not constitute a nuisance with it. Overall, it wasnt good value for money for the standard they tried to portray

Well organized place to be

The LA Kings is centrally located on stadium road a few minutes walk from Airforce nubbin in Rumuomasi Port Harcourt.Its both an event center and a hotel complete with a fast food joint.The meal is superb. A strong improvement from how it was some years back. Not too pricey too. On the average.The event center is quite large and well decorated with good lighting and sound system. The parking space isnt so large so guests would have to use the road side.Havent inspected the hotel so I cant say what the provisions and comfort are like.Attached picture was taken at the parking lot

I was so impressed and grateful for the help and attention my brothers and I received from Dike Uchendu, the Acting General Manager of this hotel. We had a disastrous experience with Turkish Airlines at the Port Harcourt International airport when the airline cancelled our flight back home to Los Angeles out of nowhere. We were shuttled over to LA Kings, but they were fully booked with other passengers from that flight. Mr. Uchendu personally drove my brothers and I to a neighboring hotel, checked us in, and communicated all details of our situation to the front desk. That was already very kind of him, but he REALLY went the extra mile by also helping my brothers and I stay in contact with my aunt in Imo State. We had no naira — so she wired him naira to give to us and he went out of his way to go to the bank, withdraw that naira, and then come back to the hotel we were staying at to deliver the naira to us. He helped us arrange for car service back to the airport and was generally kind, trustworthy, and capable. I know LA Kings is better off for having Dike Uchendu running their establishment! Will absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Port Harcourt.

It was fairly clean. Secure location. The cons: dust in the closets, no trash bins in our room, the shower pressure was very poor and this one maybe preference but the bed was hard as rock.

Good place to host your occasion and got a good hotel service too. Inadequate parking space for large events.

The surrounding is nice. The place is big inside. There are several buildings inside. The swimming pool is clean but not too long. It costs about 1500 Naira per day to use the swimming pool. The rooms are on the expensive side but cheaper compared to presidential hotel.

The hotel is excellent with event centre and conference room. Pizza is delicious and the snacks are wonderful.

Good food... Good services and serene environment

The check in process was really slow. My friend and I had used the online reservation app to make our bookings. It took the receptionist a whole 30mins to find my friends reservation and another 25mins to get all the paperwork which majorly involved printing and signature, done.In all this while, the reception area felt like a boiler room. I didnt understand why the place had to be so hot. Because of the hold up, I didnt want to wait at the lobby, for the receptionist to sort my reservation out. I had to get out of the heat. I opted to go with my friend to his room while they sorted things out.I got to my friends room and the lights was very dim. It would seem romantic, until you need really bright lights to read some documents. I decided that I wasnt going to let that kill my vibe, so I jumped on the bed to have a feel. The springs on the bed was hard rock! Just then I concluded that this wasnt the place for me. I love my beauty sleep and I would not want spring lines on my face and back when I wake up.In their defence, I think I missed out on certain things which could have changed my view of the place. Something like the Spa massage (including deep tissue) which according to their testimony, was to die for. I didnt have the opportunity to taste their meals. They have Chinese food and other kinds of offerings that smell nice. There is a huge parking lot that can accommodate a lot of cars on days when an event is not being held at their big event center which also is in front of the hotel.

Wow,what do i say, La Kings hotel, one of the beautiful places in Elekahia,old Aba road porthacourt, its before the Yakubu Gowon stadium, Elekahia, its beautiful and quiet environment is amazing, their Chinese restaurant is superb,in all LA Kings Hotels,is a place you wouldnt want to Miss i promise you,they have free WIFI,for guests,their staffs well behaved, trusted security guards etc,so i assure you when ever you are on a vacation,it is surely that one place you would love to Lodge.
