I took my mother for occular check up. Though the filing and payment process is a bit tedious, I was able to sort that out effectively.If you are going there for consultation, make sure to be there very early. Get to the department, and write your name on a paper that should be available. That is the sheet they will use to know who came first.

Its a nice hospital but the character of certain workers (Doctors) do not inspire life into the sick patients but discourage and demoralize their spirit. They have a nice facility and brilliant doctors and have been able to keep my dad stable. A good hospital. Imagine a health practitioner shouting at a patient and the patients family at the top of his voice. Seeing that this morning was so shameful for BMH

A portable Govt. Hospital. Its doing so well despite being owned by the govt.

A well refurbished environment, clean, computerised and services are well priced. The faculty is also reasonably equipped and itnis very well located. The challenge it has is poor parking space and it requires more land space generally too.

Alot of the sick and their care giver are mostly in one hall: especially the accident and emergency unit. No privacy whatsoever...

Most nurses are lackadaisical about their duties. Its the worst place to go for an emergency.😠

BMH had change to Rivers State university teaching hospital, though still been called BMH.It changed from been hospital to teaching hospital owned by Rivers State.Its a standard teaching hospital and many development is ongoing at the moment.
