Eastern Garden Chinese Restaurant is a testament to the longevity of a food business when managed properly. They’ve been around, fully operational, for as long as I can remember.Their consistency - with meals and service - is legendary. If you had a meal there 10 years ago and order the same meal today, you most likely wouldn’t notice any significant difference in quality.Their large spinning tables make it a good choice for group/family dining and the interior is clean, albeit a tad dated.They also have these simple and moderately priced lunch packs prepared within a few hours daily…around lunch time. A good option for the busy person who needs to eat while on transit.Tasty meals too.

Nice restaurant, good ambience. Serves basic Chinese meals. The food was OK. They might need to work on their interior decoration tho. The order came quite quickly I was surprised.

This is one of the oldest bakeries and Chinese restaurants in the city. From onset, they have maintained a high standard of pastery products and have the best bread in town in terms of taste and variety. Their bread is sold exclusively so can only be obtained by visiting here. The Chinese restaurant is also great but ensure your pockets are deep enough before paying it a visit. The parking lot is sufficient for the level of traffic most times.

Nice cosy place for lunch or dinner. The food is quite nice looking and delicious.However, the restaurant was somehow warm, causing some sweating. Other than the warm room, everything else was perfect.I have always enjoyed patronising this place.

Decent upgrade was done in the restaurant and it still retains a good ambience. Meals still excellent but costly. Service was a bit slow but well presented. Still one of the best restaurants in Port Harcourt in my opinion.Overall, I enjoyed some lavish time with my family.

The sales girls at the bakery tried to dupe me. A cake is boldly written 6,600 naira on it. But they insist it is 10,000 naira. I did not buy I drove down to spar to get at the right price.

Same old same old eastern garden, the aroma from the bakery is still inviting as always and the pastry looks too good to be true. Although the place needs a little visual TLC to bring it back to its former glory but I dont think that should stop anyone from visiting and trying out the pastry shop. Before I forget the bread selection is wide and nice.

As always, the meal is excellent. Service is great and the staff are polite and knowledgeable. Ambience is ok too.Excellent for group or with a special someoneAlthough the timing can be an issue. be sure to check the opening and closing times for lunch or dinner. Or you may get there and the place is closed.Oh yes, its a bit pricey too but great value for money.All in all, a highly recommend place to eat.

This place is horrible, It started with roaches falling out of their menus to finding them in my food. It shows the state of the kitchen and the restaurant as a whole. They had roaches everywhere even in my food. And the management did nothing about it. It has been the most traumatic experience because I had been eating from the cockroach sauce till I saw it.

Chinese restaurant along Aba road after CFC busstop. One of the best ones in town complete with the Asian ambience. They offer lunch packs which are affordable and and easy to get from noon all the way to about 3. They also open for dinner at about 6pm and close at about 8.30pm so be sure to confirm ahead of time if coming as a group. Their pricing is fair and if in groups, its better to order large portions and share. Their bar is rich in assorted wines and you can get cocktails too though they are not cheap. They also have a very active bakery where you can get assorted breads and pastries.

A lot of mismatched cutleries and chipped plates and glasses. Its quite irritating to see such in a 5 star restaurant that they claim to be. I wouldnt go there if there was a better alternative.

Serene atmosphere, tasty meals. I ordered sweet and sour prawns, beef strips in black pepper sauce and mixed meat fried rice. Yum!!
