From the days of Modotel to the brand new name of recent years, this has been one amazing place with loads of memories. I greatly recommend the snacks bar with delicious snacks and a wide array of confectionery.The rooftop is also cool. Loud music blazing with fresh air and a nice skyline of the city. You will love it here.

I liked my time here. Made new friends at the pool. The fact that the pool is very well kept, gets me going back. Its quite large and standard, theres a change and shower room. And you get a clean towel. Its affordable. Then while you wait, theres an open bar where you can get food, snacks and drinks. Good customer service as well. Theres always from for improvements though e.g safety rails etc

I have not been inside Rockview, I simply passed by since its at the roundabout of the popular government house. But from what I have heard, its one of the best and most popular in owerri.

A serene environment with courteous staff and spring bed. Many of the rooms from 4th floor are blacked out with no view of the outside. I was told the govt asked them to black out the rooms due to security.Nice meals (slightly not expensive) are served but the waiting time for room service is long.Do not rely on their internet service at all. Connections are bad.Their gym is a good place to visit if time permits.Only 1 elevator is in use and this could be frustrating esp during peak times. Your alternative is to take the stairs and imagine if your room is in the 7th floor. I took the stairs twice and I didnt find it funny.I had a good stay in the hotel.

Hotel lobby is nice and staff is very pleasant. The hotel is veryyyyy run down.. poor poor maintenance.. we had to chance rooms.. the second room was no better.. Television did not work, safe did not work, bed is extremely hard and the bathroom sink had rust. Toilet is leaking water and the paint is literally falling off the wall.. the breakfast buffet was good.

Old hotel with so many rats, bugs and cockroaches roaming at night. The hotel needs fumigation. Buffet is ok, AC works good, Wi-Fi not so good. Staff are courteous. Security is ok.
