Hostel A is the first male hostel in the university. Its on the other side of the road that divides it with the department of mechanical engineering building...Its quite an old hostel but there are precisely a large number of students living there. I have more than 40 of students from my department living in the A hostel.The hostel usually have good environment with an adequate supply of electricity especially at night.One issue I found out the hostel has is poor and inconsistent sanitation.

A Public hostel for Students of Federal University of Technology, Owerri.Fairly neat and manageable for those whose cant afford apartments off-campus.Its a two story building with a general general kitchen and about two to four general toilets for each floor.It has about 20 to 25 rooms per floor and a common room (really opened).Each room is shared by 8 persons with pairs of bunk beds and a ward robe for 2 persons sharing each pair of bunks.But you are better off staying off-campus if you can afford it.

Male hostel in the Federal university of technology,Owerri.It accommodates more than 300 guys.There is adequate security, water and power supply .Has no wheelchair accessible entrance.There is free WiFi between 8:00pm and 8:00am.The restrooms are poorly maintained and the rooms are quite small to accommodate eight boys.

Even at 3 stars, its still better than Hostel B

The place is cool in a way. Its affordable, has some nice metal bunk that fits in the bed perfectly the rooms are well ventilated and its not quite far from lecture rooms(i.e It is trek able). The issue here is that the toilets are not maintained properly. This is really a nice place for students to stay, cook, sleep, and of course Read (very important). You can give it a try...!!

Its supposed to be a student-friendly environment. But from what Ive seen so far, and the fact that its a federal institution, please!! It could be a lot better

Hostel A (active gents) is a nice hostel to be in as a Futo student. It has so many important features and it is lively.

The hostel is one of the earliest hotels in the institution, its a two storey building and have hosted some of the greatest minds that graduated from FUTO

Not Soo cool

This building is located at The Federal University of Technology, Owerri IMO state. It is a hostel owned by the school for to accommodate students. It is okay to stay in a bit dirty but at least u get to mix up with people of different character. And also it has a friendly environment.

It has a fine spacing for hanging clothes called quadrangle

Relatively okay.... But much improvement is okay especially with the number of occupants per room.

Its good for starters.....but lodge is the best for privacy stuff
