Nguru Center is a Large area situated on the same road towards Orie Opara junction on-the-go to Nkwogwu Post Office and Market while heading further to Ahiara junction Afor Ogbe, Aguneze, Obowo Otoko to Umuahia in Abia State. Nguru Center is almost equidistant on the tarred road leading from Owerri to Umuahia so travelling from here on opposite direction one will first get to Umuanuma, then Uzoanno Paint factory, Afor Enyiogugu Airport junction, Azaraegbelu FM RADIO STATION, River bridge, Emekuku Mount Carmel Hospital, Awaka, Egbu to Owerri Municipality. From Ishiozo Amaohuru to Nguru Center is about five minutes drive on the unarred route while another route via the Afor Ibeku Orie Opara turn Nguru Center may take about ten minutes to reach. Nguru Center is however at the outskirts of Ishiozo Amaohuru on the Western axis as Ekenguru market is on the Eastern axis of the Community. Obetiti Community is bounding Ishiozo Amaohuru on the Northern axis as Ibeku Okwuato is on the Southern axis. Located in Umuanuma Nguru Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, Nguru Centre is the name given to the entire area of land harbouring the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish and primary school, Eke Oha market, and nearby residential homes. Since the colonial days in Nigeria, the area served as the central meeting place of the Nguru people, especially during their major traditional ceremonies like itu-aka. The location of the catholic church on that spot in the 1920s further popularised the area. Officially, the market trades every 8 days though skeletal trading goes on around their every day
