I have visited Hungry man restaurant previously and the food was great but this time around the food was horrible,l had okra soup with fresh fish and poundo.The fish was very little and didnt worth the price.The food took about an hour plus before it comes out.l called the manager and asked why the sudden change in service and she didnt have much to say but the price of food is high. Im done going up there to eat and wont recommend it to anyone. Right now the best place to eat is old English restuarant.

Well its a neat serene place, however, the food is too pricy for the quantity being served. Its also A la carte so be assured of fresh food. Overall, not a bad experience. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take any pictures, just dived into my meal as soon as it arrived.

The environment is calm, the waiters were polite and our food did not take time.The vegetable soup is yummy. The goat meat was soft and tasty. I’ll always come back here whenever I am in Owerri.If you’re in Owerri and you’re looking for a good place to eat homemade Nigerian soups, Hungryman is the place to go.

Their meals are always fresh although it takes a bit of time because it is alacart, my suggestion if you are very hungry call them in advance to make the food before you get there.

I have been to this restaurant twice with my wife and both times have been a good experience. The vegetable soup is very well prepared and we love the ox tail. We had the vegetable soup with plantain flour and pounded yam. When we visited in november 2018 we had ice cubes with our drinks which was very cool. Sadly when we visited march 2020 they said the ice machine was broken. All in all a nice sit down restaurant style you dont see alot in Nigeria.

The security men were fairly dressed and their courtesy was okay. Food and drinks were also good. Customer service, good. Well airconditioned and litted.Over all, they were okay.

Food was good, though its a tad pricey. Took about 20mims for food to come because its alacart. Their rice and peppersoup is pricey because it is charged separately;white rice has its price and peppersoup has its price. Environment is cozy enough.
