Oye Olisa is at Ogbunike along Ogidi ogbunike Road. The market still follow the traditional Igbo market calendar of once a week on oye day. It is not a daily market but there are market activities on daily basis. On a market day, the market is filled with goods and activities that driving through is a bit difficult. But daily, once can still get fruits. It is more of grocery market.

The market is situated at an intersection that is dangerous and chaotic, with no traffic control. Roadside traders and okada motorcycle taxis spill unto the road. Parking is next to impossible.
