This is an old market called Gwari market which use to be the central market of Minna Niger state, until when the government built a new one called kure market, which has a modern design and well organised with a parking lot etc. The Gwari market is so clustered, not properly organised. Parking is mostly done by the road side having road side traders and hawkers blocking the path.Besides all this the market play a very big role in supplying major goods to retailers and sub wholesalers. With a lot of retailers within and outside the market. Virtually almost all types of household items can be found here at a reasonable price, including agricultural produce, its very hard to find something that you need and not get it. Commercial transport are on standby such as bicycles (okada riders) tricycles (keke napep). It usually opens between 8am-6:00pm
