Is the biggest and most beautiful stadium in makurdi with beautiful array of structures and designs, most of the local and national soccer teams play in this stadium. It also houses a basket ball court and other areas of sports.

Its a really nice place, it is the most standard sporting center in Benue State and it has state of the art sporting equipments. It is clean, wild and easy to navigate and also it has a restaurant, restroom and a lodge. This facility holds a great number of sporting activities as many as you can think of. Its really amazing, you all should visit here someday.

A nice environment for sports and workouts routine.

The stadium is very okay. Although the turn out o fab fans is not as what you see in Kano, Jos, Nasarawa etc. This is the only NPFL venue that I have been to where that is a special section for VIPs, the ticket cost N1000 though.

I have been here severally for my weekend morning walk, I must say it is OK, the strategic position of the environment. It just need more touches to make it well standard. With that, more income would be yielded to the state government if it is been used frequently.

I love going to this stadium mostly to exercise and play tennis 🎾 with friends.. It lacks in status and equipments but It serves its purpose very well and it hosts a good number of prominent people, its a great place to make friends that matters.

Aper Aku stadium is a 15,000 capacity Olympic home stadium of Lobi Stars FC. It has about 600 capacity car parking lot. The stadium was name after a giant achiever the formal governor of Benue State, Late Mr Apollos Aper Aku

It is a great Stadium in Makurdi - the home of the Star team Lobi Stars of the Nigerian Professional Football League. Good for events, sports, and a whole lot of other public activities, especially recreational.Recently, politicians have used is as political campaign grounds, with both President Muhammadu Buhari (APC) and Alh Atiku Abubakar (PDP), using it as the venue for their campaigns when they visited the State for the 2019 General Elections.All candidates claimed to have gotten the Stadium filled to capacity on their arrivals. I can verify one of those claims, since I was there myself, but I wont say which, because I dont want this review to become a political debate.So if you want to visit the Aper Aku Stadium for recreation, or you just need a very large space for an event, like a wedding which you are expecting guests of about 10-20 thousand people, then use this place. LOL.ENJOY
