I must give this place 5 star cause of its affordability. No regrets,

The hotel is situated in a calm and peaceful environment in Benue.The Room service was good , the staff are friendly and helpful but still can be improved upon. The food tastes home cooked and interior design is nice.

Affordable rooms, quiet eveniroment and cool rooms that give relief from the heat.

Doo Palace Hotel is definitely in the Top 5 Hotels in Makurdi. They have a beautiful swimming pool and a lounge, always order for Cow leg pepper soup while you are there it is yummy.

Quite nice, but security could be a little more courteous, and sockets in the bar would be nice. Used to be a good place to work while having a drink, till they took out their sockets.

The rooms are lovely and very cozy. It feels more like home. I love them and appreciate the great efforts of the entire Doo Hotel team.The only areas I am not comfortable with is that the WIFI isnt working and I in-guest are to pay additional cost to enjoy the gym and swimming pool facilities. This is the very first hotel I have experienced this amongst all hotels I have lodged and its not an encouraging trend.

It is quite a good place to lodge

The hotel is quite affordable and service is top notch. I went there at a time I was stressed and it felt good to find comfort. Friendly staff and good management 💯

One of those regular 3 star hotels. Has a swimming pool, a functional bar and restaurant, decent rooms.

The room were clean comfortable and cozy for the cost paid .. Its a small hotel but it got the job done

Quiet and comfortable place

Had a horrible experience staying here.I had to check out almost 7pm, check out for me wasnt till the next day.They had other guests staying on the same floor who were obviously having a party in their room,smoking Indian hemp, loud music with people talking at the top of their voices disturbing the peace of other guests. More than 4 complaints to the front desk, the supervisor and the manager to get these guests to stop disturbing other guests with their unruly behavior proved abortive as these guests blatantly ignored hotel management.It shows theres no discipline with the hotel management.Really horrible management style.

Most hotels in Makurdi Benue State cant be measured in same category with this hotel, if am counting my top ten, I will definitely include it in my list. Their services is superb and the food is good and very affordable and what I love most is that its never crowded with a lot of visitors.

Clean rooms. Responsive staff. Orders can be placed for room service around the clock. Fresh linen and towels daily. Stable power supply. Overpriced menu. The kitchen staff could do with some more training. Advice to go with your toiletries though.

Ample parking space. Decent service.

Location is very accessible from any part of the town, 24/7 supply of light, neat and affordable rooms, swimming pool, dried fish peppersoup (my favourite).

Awesome customer service

It’s a very good place to lodge, easy to find and in a secure area in town. It’s also close to a Catholic Church. They have a pool for adults and for kids, they have a lounge and a sit out at the pool side. Their laundry service is also very good.

The rooms are simply and tastefully furnished, kept clean and well aired. I will give their service a 7 out of 10 which is impressive in the general area. It comes complete with a gym, swimming pool, and lounge. Good for business trips through Benue State. Their food is decent. I had to pay to use the pool though as it is not complementary.

One thing Id say about this place - looking out the balcony at 6.00am is very relaxing. Almost makes you want to stay just another day or two. It has ample parking space, staff are friendly, and their appliances work... to an extent. For 8,000 Naira the beds are comfortable and the room spacious enough for two. Its not too far out of the way if youre on the road and just passing through Markurdi, but their goods store is worse than lackluster.

Doo palace hotel is well locate at the centre of makurdi town. The environment is highly conducive for lodging. I cant imagine how the rate per room so cheap that you can always get value for your money. A night will surely convince you.

This hotel has been consistent for a few years now in terms of power supply, room hygiene, courteous staff, meals and affordability. It has become a home for me anytime I am visiting makurdi.
