🤔I have 1000 things to say about this place.. Ill just briefly summarize. The only thing good about this place is just their bread..They produce great bread and maybe pastries I must say.In other areas like food, customer relations/ambiance etc.. Its very poor...very very poor. I once bought an ice cream or so that was quite bad.. Had to return immediately.Well, its a great place to sit, chat, charge phones and gist with friends..

The branch at Ganaja junction appears to look a bit neat. The products were neatly arranged on shelves but the service is very very very poor. They don’t use any form of advanced or modern technology for payment process which gave the. cheating cashier who attended to me an opportunity to cheat me of my money. She gave me lesser change short of 350 if not more. She insisted she gave me my complete change but I knew she was lying. Some products do not have price labels so they are free to tell you any price. If you insist that you know the price they may agree to sell that way. I don’t think the owner is serious because if he was, he would find ways to reduce opportunities to steal or cheat customers. As it is, the staff may also be stealing from his sales too. If they can cheat customers why not? I don’t think some sales are recorded. What sort of old Skool person owns this place? It needs some upgrade. And if they are tired of running the business, they might as well just sell it. But the bread has maintained its standard that might as well be the best thing there. Roadside cakes taste better than what they sell here. I didn’t bother to have any pastries but they looked okay.

So my friend and I decided to visit Ostrich bakeries, Lokoja believing it was going to be like their branches in Ilorin and Kaduna, unfortunately it was super empty, they have mainly Bread, other pastries were missing. The building is huge and has potentials. My friend calls it a waste of space. People in Lokoja are looking for places to hang out and eat, so this is a wake up call to the marketing manager of Ostrich bakeries Lokoja. Bring back the Glory of the Ostrich bakery brand to Lokoja, thanks.
