Im torn on this review. Venue is an outdoor space by the water. I went at night on a day there was an event hosting 3 DJs spinning chill house music. The crowd was mixed and the vibe was nice, which I would rate 5/5. My overall 3/5 rating is because the food ordered was underwhelming. Ordered chicken laps and asked the server about this item and was told it comes with 3 chicken laps. What came to the table was a drumstick and 2 very small pieces of meat that were unrecognizable parts of chicken. Had to Google what chicken laps were and the result was not what I was served. Other people had similar reviews about this item. A great place for a drink but avoid chicken laps food item. (No picture taken of food)

This is a nice relaxed restaurant if you are looking for a place to hangout after work, or just with friends. I really enjoyed the cocktails here, the bartender really knows what he’s doing. I also enjoyed the ambiance, music and most especially the staff

The cocktails were good and so was the music. If you dont get there in good time to grab a table that has no spend limit, be prepared to either take the 75k spend cabana or the 100k spend table. The chicken wings and laps were a miss. They need to do better chicken for the price they charge .

The place has potential but didnt quite make it for me. It looked beaten and worn down. I went to here for quick drinks around noon with a friend. Needs better upkeep. The staff were nice tho. And loved the murals on the walls! Welldone.

Awesome. A bit pricey. But really friggin awesome. Simple, yet elegant. Finds a way of housing a mixed and diverse crowd, respectably/respectfully too I guess. Great place. Great cigars. Great gin. Great butterfly prawns and the sauces are to die for

Lovely ambience. Nicely located beside the Lagoon front. Decor is interesting. Food and drinks were good, except for the sweetcorn I ordered, which was anything but sweet! I complained to the waiter, but nothing was done about it. Willing to give them another chance, other things I ate were good. Its a nice spot to hang out with friends and family l.

First time visiting Bolivar. Nice place for a cool sit out. Was here on a Friday evening. Good music so you can dance, I liked the Dj. You have to reserve tables on busy nights, from N15,000 up I think. Theres a mini art gallery upstairs, which glows blue at night, cool for some disco effect. Drinks are reasonable priced, I did not try the food. Good crowd, most hanging out after work. Its by a waterside and there are some spots you can take nice pictures, you can see my friend in one in the picture I posted. Ill get more pictures next time😁

Bolivar is a beautiful space with a great vibe. It attracts an interesting crowd who are mostly mavericks; creatives, techies, entertainers etc. It always feels super relaxing because it is close to the water. Its a great spot

I like this place. Great vibe to it. Got that whole bohemian thing going on. Even hear theres like an acdc, everybody-come-inside kind of night during the week. If you know you know, some things are still illegal in the country. Cant go wrong siting your joint by the lagoon. Great views, good music... well worth a return visit.

Great staff. Kinda tardy delivery. We seemed to wait forever for the bill. The food was nice, although the fries were cold and had to be returned to the kitchen. Everything else was great. I especially loved that even though we sat by the water, we didnt get bitten by bugs. I hate bugs.All in all, a good experience.

Looking for Chill and pure Vibes? This is the right place to go. Trust me.It has the most interesting water front view, However theres a 50,000 naira minimum spend to sit at the water front.All in all I and my girls had the most amazing time there.Their staff are equally polite, friendly and very warm.

This is my go-to spot... they sell grade A of everything... their steak is awesome... the view of the river is dreamy...I love their hospitality too

The ambience was it! I and my friends were out for drinks, me in search of a well made whisky sour while my friends were willing to go with the flow they went with Long Island, we also had chicken wings & goat meat peppersoup that I forgot to take a picture of, the wings were underwhelming but the goat meat was very well done! I recommend, but mostly for drinks.

If youre looking for a locale with good music and view, then Bolivar is the right place for you.Bolivar was easy to locate with Google maps, my experience at Bolivar was a mix of a great ambience, good music and an awesome sight with a spice of nature.Also, the burger I had was really tasty so I would recommend that over and over again!

Now this place is Legit. No way Ive been sleeping on this spot. Please dont. Sleep on it too. Youre welcomed with glamorous asthetic and the service is great. Staffs are on the move with speed. The wave from the lake. Just do everything you can to be there on a Friday. Their prices arent that bad either. My 5⭐ isnt a fluke.

Nice spot with very interesting decor. The use of containers and the antique feel of the furniture gives it a very chill and relaxed feel.They also had a very hands on management team as the manager (cant remember her name, a bit hard to pronounce) and some other lady who must be high up were constantly engaging guests and making sure the service being delivered was excellent.Plus the back area overlooks a body of water and the Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge.Comes recommended for a night out with friends and please be sure to try out their platters.

Lovely waterfront view, with a cheery ambience. I had extra spicy chicken wings, with potatoes and steamed veggies (you can never go wrong with steamed veggies). Overall experience was pleasant and relaxing.

Nice relaxing out-door bar. Good finger food and a wide range of drinks. Out door bed to do what you please, if you are bold enough or high enough, when you plan to spend 50k or more. Smart and courteous staff. Just by the lagoon and a view of the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.

Great spot! One of the few waterside that the water dont stink. They have a jetty. Staff was good enough to help make a drink that wasnt on their menu.

Nice place to grab drinks with friends. Also had a nice view. Merge this with some live music and You have a beautiful evening chill spot or a casual date spot.

Bolivar has a space in my heart, and is arguably my default best place to chill after Eko Hotel’s Crossroads.Pricey is relative, so I’d say they aren’t cut throat neither are they so pocket friendly; they are teetering in the balance and when it’s past a certain time, there’s a minimum spend at the waterside tables and I guess every other well position spot in the joint

The ambience was cool. They have beds also. I sat close to the water. The cocktails were not nice in my opinion (had the Minaj , Trini to Tha bone and long Island with passion fruit).Virtually all the cocktails either contains lemon, lime or lemonade.Limited options of food and drinks on the menu also.The place was packed and I still dont know why it was. Nothing special about the food.Nice music though.

I later found out that the Female Lebanese Manager was indisposed and the Nigerian Lady on duty had the worst mannersThe way the staff hurried guests out. I wasnt even done with my meal and drinks, my table was already cleared. I wasnt done paying my bills, my table was already given out to new walk ins, already breathing down my neckI tried complaining to the manager I didnt like being rushed. The space is adorned with a lot of Wall Murals and Sculptures which makes the design really gorgeous. There are regular outdoor seats, hammocks and also cabanas (which sadly, are not free)The Menu at Bolivar Bar is very sparse. It shouldn’t be your first choice if you’re looking for a space with fine dining because they really only serve finger foods. There is a gallery in the premises which houses some good paintings as well.

The environment is conducive for artistic minds with a lovely view of the ikoyi/lekki bridge however, there were lots of flies in the seating area which was quite off putting. It was explained that it was as a result of the waterside 🙄.The drinks were nice, however, I cant say the same for the food because we were given their version of bbq wings which were obviously fried. 🤦‍♀️

Over priced same as every fancy place in Lagos but the location is pretty cool, right by the water side, and the music on Monday nights makes it a must visit.

Serene spot with a water view. The art work on the walls are excellent and add to the feeling of serenity. The music is not too loud and dosent harras you. The food menu is limited though and the introduction of fish to the menu would be great. Overall a great place to relax.
