1004 is a government apartment located in Lagos island. Its called 1004 because it has 1004 rooms which are rented out as residential and as office space. Its about 6 blocks with each of it having like 30 floors. It has a very nice view and its located right beside the road adjacent to Civic center. It has a lift in it to take people to different part of the building as well as stairs Incas of any emergency.

My stay here is going to remain memorable for a really long time basically because of the memories I made there. Those apartments are beautiful, organised, functional and well secured though old. Maintenance is fair and the rent is freaking high but I guess youre prepared for it cos thats Lekki you know? Island things. Generally speaking, Ill like to stay there rather than most other places in Lag Ive lived. Cant even explain why cos community life is zero and everyone minds their business, still, Ill pick there over a ton of other cute places. Oh, and the view from my apartment balcony was breathtaking. Had it poorly captured but Ill just upload it regardless.

Probably the largest Apartment Housing Complex in the Victoria Island, Lagos. The apartment complex needs better service and maintenance. Some of my expatriate friends left the compound due to issues with services. Although all the blocks do not have similar problems at the same time but still it requires improvements. You can see the beautiful Lagoon view from some flats and it looks even more beautiful during rainy evenings.

Wow! This is such a gigantic edifice here with so many blocks of flats. The estate is so spacious and well secured. The major problem here is power supply as the situation of electricity here is epileptic. Hence, for you to enjoy here power here one has to have alternative power supply. There are ATM galleries from three commercial banks that avail the residence cash at any time. Its Its such an ideal place to leave.

This is a building that has a total of 1004 apartments. These apartments are serviced and lovely. They are not so affordable because of the numerous services attached to owning an apartment or renting an apartment there. It is a lovely place to live in: wonderful environment and serene atmosphere with excellent security.

Nice estate, good apartment but who ever it is that is managing the estate should try and put things in place, like repair some of the elevators in the buildings, I visit a friend one time in that estate and we couldnt use the Elevator because it was bad, I asked her how long it has been like that she said for about two months now, thats really not cool for such estate. But the view is beautiful, most expecially when you live on the top floor of the building, at night looking down from the balcony of the apartment its breath taking, everything look so bright and beautiful, one time I almost forgot I was in Nigeria while taking a view from the balcony.

This is one of the best apartment complexes on the Lagos Island. Impressed at how entry and exit into the estate is handled and how directions are given to wherever one is going to.I also like the view of other parts of the island that can be gotten on the top floors of some buildings here.

Well maintained and secured complex for EXPATs. Bit costly and do have certain problems. Management is arrogant. Maintenance charges on higher side. Electricity charges on higher side. Management has high handed attitude. Be careful before giving any money and get the work done in flat by landlord or broker before making any payment as after making the payments these people will be untraceable for one year and will not pick your phone even. Do not make complete payment in one go. Retain some part like 50% until work is completed.

Very very large estate. You should definitely know where exactly you are going when you are headed there so you dont end up lost or confused. Im not sure if the estate has a shuttle inside it though for easy movement. They have elevators for people who hate using the stairs. Power supply is steady. The inside of the apartments definitely look better than the outside... Lol.

1004 is an historic apartment situated in Victoria island. Its a mixed used complex but with more of residential suites. Quite. Number of mixed used apartment of this nature comes with its own problem, but I noticed, th3 management of 1004 has put all that into consideration. So its more of a cosy and elegant place to reside.

Cool, quiet and decent place. Although we were only allowed to speak in very low tones.Id prefer an Airbnb.

Lack of water or regular electricity make this a difficult place to live, Recent management changes have proven difficult to maintain water & power. As each apartment may have a different landlord, consistency is hard to maintain amongst flats.

1004 is a mixed development middle class estate. It contains multiple blocks of residential apartments with some blocks taller than others. Also located within the estate are ATMs, stores, restaurants etc so this is an advantage to residents in terms of convenience. Being almost in the middle of victoria island, its location is pretty central. Its underwent extensive renovations after being sold to private investors several years back but its age remains quite obvious.Over all its not a bad estate if you dont mind its density.

Did not really spend much time there. May revisit and pay proper attention. One thing stands out though, the houses have stood test of time and harsh weather, which is a sign of good architectural and engineering work.
