It was beautiful designed and set up.I hope that the compound is maintained and kept clean always.There are also escavators and big waiting rooms, with modern facility structure.I look forward to boarding a train there.The pictures Im attaching are pictures taken at the ofdicla opening of the location.Enjoy!

Leaves by 4PM to Ibadan on dot with a stop over in Abeokuta. Trip duration is exactly 2hrs 40mins. The standard coach costs 2,500NGN. There are other options for 5,000NGN and 6,000NGN

The train terminal is magnificent and clean. I hope it stays this way. The waiting room is quite large and had plenty of seats for everyone, unless one has to sit on the floor to use the sockets. May not be such a good thing to arrive too early before ticket sales. Had to sit on the stairs outside to hang around until sale of tickets commenced as there were no seats.

Automating tickets would make life easily. Though still under construction, the escalators and lifts should be activated 24/7, other disability access would add extra values. Signs for old people not to fall over.

Its convenient, safe, traffic free, stress free and affordable. Although, they can do better by serving snacks on the trip. But I enjoyed it, every bit of it. Only part I didnt like was having to walk on rails with big stones to get to the train...was kinda unsafe and everywhere was dark at the Lagos station on our return trip, we had to use lights from our phones to walk out of the station that had lots of construction ongoing, very unsafe.

Easy to Locate. Seamless check in . Ticket price from Lagos to Abeokuta was 2,000 naira.The trains are very time conscious once it’s 4pm it moves.Helpful tip will be to go very early .

Loved it!Better than I thought itd be.The station is really standard and easy to navigate. Tickets are also easy to purchase; Lagos to Abeokuta or vice versa, Standard Class tickets are N2,000 and theres also the first class option for N3,500.The train is fully air-conditioned and with electric outlets in case you need to charge.Time to destination is also precise and exact, no more no less. (Abeokuta - Lagos or vice versa: 1hr 35mins)Generally more convenient and faster in that theres no form of traffic or bad roads to slow you down.
