One of the top restaurants located in the campus of the University of Lagos. It offers a value of dishes and their signature salad, where the name is coined from. The food is relatively cheap and pocket friendly.However, better and quality services can still be rendered to meet the hype of this place.

Salado remains one of the few restaurants in Unilag that I still use often, as they have very good meals, their salad is top notch, the meals are very affordable, the restaurant however can sometimes be crowded but I still prefer there to a number of others in Unilag when it is crowded. I have tried a lot of their meals, even tried potato fries with their jollof rice and all had a great taste.

As we know food in Lagos is on a very affordable level, but these guys with the affordability add class and varieties to their business. Its a good choice trust me.

This cafeteria is the best around here in University of Lagos. There salad is the very best second to none and there chips is very very nice.Above all, they can really cook well. If youre looking for a spicy meal, its Salado way then. Its a first class service you will be getting here.

I have enjoyed meals here for over a decade, they produce the best salad dish i have tasted anywhere in the world, i can tell you without any fear of contraction that their meals are very good, tasty and fresh.Their meals are also inexpensive for the quality and quantity of foods they produce. You can bet that this is great value for money.Anyway Im in unilag i always endeavour to have a meal here.Their food is also very rich and its produced with total commitment to quality. They have various varieties including but not limited to French fries, rice, turkeys and other tasty foods.

Its a good place and meals tasty.. The ambience is neat and spacious.but the cafe was very very hot because the airconditioning unit wasnt functional. The only restroom they have is so dirty and irritating with a broken toilet and no water to flush.. Horrible! For a cafeteria.

Salado is one of the best place for classic food in the University of Lagos. It is known specially for its Salad. You might not be regarded as a big boy or big girl if you have not eaten here.

Old but gold

It is said to be one of the best restaurant in the university of Lagos. On my visit to the place I found out it was a struggle to get food because there are no waiter to attend to you. The place is not conducive most times as the place is crowded and the are usually 3 people attending to more customers.

The food is good and affordable. This is my favorite restaurant in Unilag. The attendant at the counter can be rude though.

Like all good place I found this place by word of mouth. If this wasnt in a university it would pass for a regular buka . It didnt disappoint they have found a niche for themself with their limited meal option. Salad not your regular Nigerian cabbage and sprinkling of carrot, gizzard of a certain size and prepared in a certain sauce. Mexican rice. The food is good and worth visiting. Just get ready to be hooked.

However their specialty is their salad from which they derive their name.the best part about the salad is that it is customizable and you can choose what to leave in or leave out.Most importantly, the place is neat and easily accessible . youre always assured of freshly prepared food.Drinks are also sold alongside. Water and soft drinks are readily available. Because it is a school environment, alcoholic beverages arent sold.

Salado is one of the biggest restaurants on the Unilag campus. Its spacious and offers many options for a meal. Their rice is cheap but meat is expensive. Otherwise their food and service is excellent. Their staff is very neat ijn handling the food and they offer catering services too.
