The chef here knows what’s up. The waiter was also super professional and very nice too. You rarely get this kind of service in Lagos restaurants tbh. Food, service and ambience = A1 👌🏾

Oh my Sabor! Id rate them 5stars but for the difficulty in locating the restaurant. It is hidden in plain sight and as such can be difficult to find. However, the whole ambience makes up for it and more importantly, the FOOD! I mean I had pasta (spaghetti actually) and it was close to the best Ive ever had. The chicken lollipop was also the right degree on juicy and sweet. If you do go, order the seafood scampi, its the absolute best!

I liked Sabor. Food is just right and the menu fairly interesting even though they seem to have a thing for pasta. A thumbs up.

It’s a really cute space and it has this vintage vibe going on, it’s a place you can totally dress up to. The customer relation was good but the staff at some point wasn’t available when we needed them. Probably because they had an event of some sort planned. We stayed on the terrace because the inside was reserved and that was the only space available. We had their jollof rice and bbq chicken lollipops which is about 6 per portion. Their food is really nice but the portions are small. Overall the space is cute, the customer service is good and the food is nice except for the small portions. They collect tax, so I’m looking at the menu plan for tax to be added outside of the initial food pricing.

The ambience is nice and the food tastes good. Food and Drinks here are a bit pricey but it tastes good.I got Chapman for about 2500 and its not inclusive of VAT and service charge.Calamari was about 3850 or so.

This is the first restaurant I visited in Lagos post lockdown and here’s how it went.ExperienceI absolutely love the service here. Upon entering, there was a temperature check and compulsory use of hand sanitiser. The menu is now digital so you’ll scan the barcode which will open up a link with the menu. The staff (waiters) anticipate your needs and it’s a delight to witness.FoodMy food was sooooo delicious. I love how the sweet potato fries were made, so unexpected. At first I thought it was chicken lol. I did ask that the bbq chicken lollipops be coated in pepper because Yoruba babe lol and the chef did just that. Totally lovely. The ambience is very basic especially for a restaurant in VI, the road is currently under construction so entering the restaurant is quite a struggle because you have to pass through planks to get in. The food is very delicious, however it takes a while to be ready.... an average of about 30 mins so it is definitely not ideal for a quick bite. The pricing is also quite steep if we are being honest and the portions are generally quite small. All in all, I would say it is just about average.

The atmosphere is soothing. Nice customer service and the food is tasty.When you place your order you wait about 25mins for you food.I like the root top view.I had the chicken lollipops and sweet potatoes and my friend had the half-roasted butter chicken. The chicken was so succulent and tasty.We did takeout and I love the packaging used.I would love to visit again to try another dish and also a mocktail.

The space is simple and classy. The cocktails were so good.The food was good. I am not giving a 5 as my Pasta came out too spicy despite the instruction. That did not stop me from finishing the meal. The meals were appealing to the eyes.They know the pasta business well. Next visit, I will try the grilled food options.The terrace is a good space to chill with friends and have good laughs.I recommend SABOR

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I’ve been there twice 2 months apart now and every time, every dish excites my taste buds. Pricing is decent, not cheap but not expensive either. I’d just say it’s worth every penny

Well, i was expecting a more grand entrance considering its reputation. However the staff were super professional and mist importantly, the meal was great. Good portions. Youll have a nice time. Its preferable if tou go at night and in a dry season.

Nice interior but the food was 6/10.

I liked the food and the ambience of the place. The staff were courteous and the portions were filling. They also had outdoor sitting. My only issue was that they didnt ask about food allergies and I got served something I was allergic to as a garnish and I had a reaction.

Totally loved the ambience. The food was excellent. Waiting time was amazingly managed and I was particularly impressed and inspired by the waiter who attended to us - David. Ooh great service, food amazing..potato wedges and the a very nice burger...guess what? Burger was not soggy even till the next day....they also have one very nice creamy sauce that comes with fries or potatoes...then the frozen lemonade ooh mi gosh....very nice..love it

The Seafood and Chorizo paella was amazing (even though we didnt have the pork bit). This is said to be ideal for two persons but I think 3 people with large appetites can still share. Loved it!!!

Great ambience, the staff who attended to us knew about the menu and was able to help us order which I liked.They all had thier masks on(staffs)No face mask no entry rule in place 💯Hand sanitizers too were in place 💯While you have your customers wait for their meals,I think its fair you guys give some peanuts or something to much on while your customers wait for thier meals.I loved loved the Big bird burger plus hand cut sweet potato fries as side,tho it was a lil bit salty kinda but I finished (I hope i got the name right).My man had pasta scampi and it was amazing 👏Hopefully we visit soon 🙂

Quaint....just perfect. It was a bit hard to find...but thanks to Google maps and asking I found it. Simple, contemporary, lovely short menu, a choice of cocktails and wine. A lovely place for hanging with your girl or quick lunch or dinner with family. Service is great and attentive as the place is small.

I had such a good time at Sabor,The waiter (Wale) assigned to my table was exceptional. He made very good recommendations which i totally enjoyed.I had an extra strong Raspberry Gin Frizz but didnt taste any alcohol in it.I had a well done juicy burger with fries.... it was excellent. The right size and spice.The almond brownie dessert was yummy too.The food servings were great for the prices. I could hardly finish mine.Oh,the smoking area outside could have been better.. more air and less flies..I would definitely recommend and revisit.☺️🙌🏻

Sabor is a place to be I swear....I will suggest you dont eat while going there cus you will get so filled up and well you can do the take away which I did.. price? Affordable ! And ate alot and was filled up. I swear just visit the place. Clean and the toilet scene (for me) was traditional and I love it gan.

Had a lovely experience here. Food was lovely. The mash was so nice...the ribs done to perfection! My +1 said the seafood scampi was really good too. She forgot her phone and even though it was past midnight when we returned, it was gotten back intact. There was even good social media feedback concerning the phone. The waiter, Alvin, was simply amazing as well!

SABOR is an exotic restaurant that is located on the island. It is beautifully adorned and spaciously arranged for groups and also for couples. There have various foods and delicacies that are tasty and delicious. Variety of food on their menu such as chicken lollipop for light bites, tagliatelle pasta for main dishes and the ultimate juice such as burgers. Also the seafood and half roasted butter chicken is a wonder you need to taste. SABOR has a rest room for convenience and a ample parking space. There is an artwork by the entrance for photo enthusiasts. The prices are affordable. SABOR is a great place to be!!!

The seafood platter is excellent! Please dont try eating that alone, you cant finish it. The sweet potato fries looked quite chunky and so I was skeptical at first however, the taste was awesome. Customer service is really good here as well. Really laid back, not too formal environment 👍🏿

I have never had sweet potato fried that way, very delicious. I didnt really enjoy the chicken lollipop though. Had ice cream and brownie for desert and it was simply delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience

Really good food. Good service. We sat outside but its a better idea to seat inside as the outdoor seating (though great for the aesthetics) was quite hot and uncomfortable, even with several fans installed.

Their seafood pasta was a hit!! The Penne Pasta cooked with beef was also pretty good! The restaurant was quite cozy with an indoor and outdoor session.

We couldn’t find the restaurant because there was no sign, that definitely needs to change. Chop now is not your restaurant! Besides that, the customer service was top notch. The Thai spring rolls were so good. The first round was really big, by the time we ordered again, it was smaller but the taste remained the same. Enjoyed the seafood scampi so much! My drink wasn’t exceptional or anything which was fine because of the food!

I was looking forward to my dining experience at the sabor Lagos. It was easy to make a reservation and we felt right at home thanks to Amy whom I presumed was the manager.The ambience is has a rustic feel. The staff were courteous.The starters took too long and I was underwhelmed with my order. My paella was dry and salty. The pasta was quite good.They get 3stars because Security presence was lacking and I feel this is essential.I hope the food and prep time is improved upon.

Sabor is a nice, relaxed chill spot, perfect for a lazy and casual evening out. Its a bit small but that adds to the cosy feel; the food is good and our order arrived in just under 30 minutes, cocktails are good as well. Prices are about the same as youd expect from your regular lagos spot. The place has an indoor sitting area as well as a balcony so theres a place for everyone.Overall not bad at all.

Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because of the general ambience/environment. There is nothing amazing other than the dining itself. The food tastes great and is often served in decent sized portions. They will pamper you with food here. They also have decent cocktails as well.All in all, great experienceP. S: The paella is more suited to three or four people as against the two that is suggested. Oh and they have excellent starters as well.

Sabor is a such a lovely restaurant. The ambience, food, service is top notch. The food portions are quite large to be honest when compared to other restaurants. I’m going to keep going there till I try everything on the menu. There’s also an outdoor seating that’s really lovely and “instagrammable”.

Sabor has great cocktails!!! Decent ambience, been here a number of times before and the food is always good. Had fried calamari for starters and I was quite confused about the sauce. Had a chicken burger that I forgot to take a picture of.

Great restaurant. The butter chicken & Aubergine-eggplant-pasta was great!! The butter chicken has the same suya-like seasoning I love 9ja for....& the pasta my wife had was amazing as well. As good as you can have in the US/Europe if not better.My only request is to make the outside sliding doors a bit easier to pull. Grease it or something.

Very understated and spectacular menu! Don’t forget the paella! Nice wine selection. There is an outdoor section with a fire pit on the table. Don’t worry it’s not a real flame so it’s not hot. Service is excellent and super friendly always with a smile. It’s on a one way street so make sure you come the right way down the street. Police are waiting for one way criminals

I had a delightful experience at Sabor, the hostess welcomed me with a smile and recommended a really good location to sit since I was battling with a cold. The waiters were very attentive and helpful with recommendations. I especially loved that the decor theme was extended to the restrooms and I look forward to visiting again.

Sabor is a nice place for drinks and a nice meal. The food was tasty although the space felt a lot choked up but I guess it is because i visited on a Friday evening/night so there was a lot of people. The table wasn’t cleaned from previous guests and the order took a while to be ready. However, The music was ok plus I loved the decor and I will be visiting again.

The Pasta and chicken curry was a 10/10 ,well priced ,definitely coming back.

Sabor is a nice restaurant at the heart of Victoria Island. It’s a nice place to hang with friends. It’s also good for large-ish groups.Their prices are not bad but when we got the bill, we were a bit confused about the consumption tax and service fee charges). This is in addition to VAT as well. Each of these were 5% of the actual price that appeared on the menu. So, if you are on a strict budget, you may want to add 15% to the price you see on the menu so you don’t get surprised when it’s time to pay. Whew.

I was there for the 1960 special and it was a lovely experience. The Zik and Aboki Special were nice though I felt the suya was too spicy. The Jollof rice and prawns was great and the dessert amazing. Good experience. I will definitely visit again.

Didnt really get the chance to explore the menu... I had the Long island, and after 2mins, I had to get the waiter to tweak the mixture. He gladly took the cup back for tweaking, and it came out better. Overall, the vibe is good. Would def go there again to explore a bit more...

My second time at Sabor. The service was unusually slow today. Even the tea took so long to be served.The starter came late, delicious though. The main course came way too late, we had to have the staff pack our meals to go.Overall good, tasty meals and nice ambience.

Amazing service, I was happy to tip my waiter. I had the duck sliders which was really good and pork ribs which were fall of the bone, finger licking good.Even though the decor is on point, I hope they move to a better location in a few years because that street just has a little bit of shadyness to it but that has nothing to do with Sabor
