The food is quite okay, though it might seem overpriced.Compared to some other restaurants in the neighborhood, a scoop of rice goes for between ₦300 - 400.The swallows are within the ₦200 - 300 range while the soup is sold for ₦400.The atmosphere is quiet, though my visit was on a Sunday. I cannot tell how it is on week days. The table I sat in was quite messy, as I had to remove some left over table water bottles and tissues.I believe the experience is generally a good one.To eat to satisfaction, you should be looking to spend above ₦1300.
Really nice Nigerian dishes. One of the best pounded yam meal around. Its worth trying out
Food was delicious. Not too pricey but not cheap. It was a serene indoor space with no crowd. They should invest in an insect zapper because I killed 2 mosquitoes while eating 😏
Their smokey jollof rice is my best and that beef. God! That beef!😋
Nice environment. Heard local dishes are tastier than the fried rice and moi moi I had.
Okele is one of the few restaurants in Victoria Island that serves tasty local dishes at very competitive prices. One thing I couldnt get over was the size of the fish, ponmo and turkey in my last visit. The ambiance is a simple blend of local and modern design. Its a comfortable place for workers to eat and converse before heading back to the office. I hear they also do deliveries.
The food is good and fairly affordable. The place is also neat and the ambience is good. It is easy to locate and the staff are polite.
A very nice and cool area with high level of professionalism.
I really loved the spicy pepper sauce, the soft ponmo as well.
Nice and homely, and their takeaway order is as good as they get.
They have the best jollof rice I have ever tasted in a long time...cool staffs nice environment...very clean...my new favourite spot✊✊
There food is always homelike and delicious and also affordable, with a nice and beautiful environment.
Okele is a nice place. They sell relatively affordable food (for VI 😅). I love their food but the pepper is a little more than I can handle. Friendly staff despite my indecisiveness 😬I gave them a three start because most of the time I went, what I wanted wasn’t available 😕
Its a nice place to visit and its located behind 1004 apartments in Victoria Island.
Its more hygienic than the other branch at ajosse
Very nice and warmly place to have a meal
Nice food, and very pocket friendly
They serve decent meals however staff need to be properly trained. There is a lot of dropping the ball with the staff
Good atmosphere but can be nosy
Nice setting, great taste
The food is nice
Food is reasonably priced with spacious seating arrangement. The pounded yam with egusi soup is on point 👌
The food tasted like sorrow
The food is so delicious especially their native dishes.
Was a great place to be with delicious meals
They server really nice food
Their meal is the best around
A nice and quiet place.
Wonderful place 🥰💖Comfortable
Affordable meal and excellent customer service
Good local food place
Their small sized bottle water was sold for N200 which is a bit expensive for me
Nice meal
Good place to be
Very good and affordable meals
Good food
Its a good place but there food is too expensive
The owner was available, such a nice man
Is a nice place to be
Nice food
Was disappointed
Okele serves locally made dishes that are pocket friendly and tastes awesome. My first meal there was with a friend on a Sunday. It has a fine dining ambience with a bukha pricing. Meals are nice. Staff are nice. Id recommend their pounded yam and egusi soup...
Im loving their new branch, an improvement from the other one at Jibrin street. Parking is now provided, although quite limited to a small number of vehicles. The new branch has a better ambiance and modernised dining hall. Services have improved and food still tastes great.
Well, Okele is best described as simple. Located in VI most of its customers are people who work in victoria island.
