I hopped on the bandwagon because of the hype this restaurant was getting and when I saw the menu, I was disappointed along with the party I went with. I’m not a sushi fan and everything was screaming sushi so I wasn’t keen on any appetizers but thankfully the people I was with made me try it and damn! were they good, my mind is open to sushi now. The main meals were delicious but not consistent as we ordered the shrimp fried rice 3 different times that evening and they all had different taste. All in all, a good restaurant.

ITS OVERPRICED!Honestly, asides the ambience, the quantity of the food isn’t worth the price. You don’t get the value of your money.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE as well.Firstly I called to make a reservation and the person on the other side of the phone was so rude with so much nonchalance.Complained about my cocktail tasting diluted with little to no alcohol in it and nothing could be done about it. We requested to see the manager but apparently he was too busy to get involved in his/her customers.It’s more sushi you get on the menu to main dishes. They don’t have so many options for main dishes.It’s a NO for me honestly. And I’m still mad at the fact that I spent close to 40k and didn’t get the value of my money. I’ve been to so many other overpriced restaurants which I got the value of my money for but this is definitely not one of them.Oh yeah, then VAT is paid separately not part of the meal price.

Meals are pricy but definitely worth it. Really nice and beautifully designed space. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting area. It is strictly based on reservation. courteous staff. Limited parking but well coordinated. street parking also available.

The only restaurant Ive been to in Lagos where the staff do not need to chant the word Boss Boss. My order came with top speed, was amazed. Food is good, ambience is even better, inside and out.

Second time’s a charm at Koi. I recommend you stick with the the sushi menu.. it’s clearly their expertise and there’s so much to explore. Try the Unagi Avocado 👌🏼

First things first… Pricey AF! 😮‍💨Not big on the food because I’m an oddball with food but all 3 drinks I had hit! Waiters are visible, confident and professional… might need a bit of flexibility with the drinks menu (substituting spirits). Music is weird, but in a good way. I’d go back only for drinks, if someone’s paying! 😉

Lovely Japanese food! Also if you are not one to eat raw fish, there are plenty of tasty cooked options for you!

Loved this place so much omg! The food, the food was worth every penny even if I had my reservations concerning the dessert but with the starter and the main they can do no wrong in my eyes! Also they make cocktails for days!! It’s a lovely space for any kind of fun you are looking for, totally recommend!

Located in a semi hidden spot with limited parking strictly monitored for optimal use though.Ambience and general interior has a cozy tone with the appearance of privacy indoor, not so much for their outdoor space.Great customer service and good food! Only downside is the portion of food being quite small for the price..(and the price is on the high!)

Attempted table for three.The waitress that attended to us made my/our day. Courteous, attentive; with massive knowledge about the contents & process to make the meals printed on the menu. Im massively impressed in that department.I had the Black Cod Fish & vegetable fried rice; another had lamb chops/Special fried rice +1 extra. We shared stuffed dumplings, prawns in batter, & some sushi type ish. My favourite was the stuffed dumplings. Cocktails on point.Lets just say I thought I might be getting a Japanese Resident Permit with the bill paid. I felt like I spent my school fees the next morning.MINUS:Only two types of beer brands available here.

I went to Koi with 5 other friends and even though it’s a lovely restaurant, the menu was very underwhelming and not extensive.It is certainly not cheap, our bill was over 130k and like I said we had mainly mini bites and cocktails, so be prepared to spend quite a bit.If you’re a seafood or sushi lover, then Koi is definitely for you.

The ambience was everything! It reminds me of Tao in Chicago. The waiters know the right time to come, you look at them and they are there; they are so attentive. I enjoyed my drink so much and my sushi. I didn’t like my dumplings, the filling had no taste. I’m definitely coming back again and I cannot wait!

KOI is absolutely amazing! The Dj was one of the highlights. Fantastic selection of house music . The ambience is so vibrant and I loved the menu. The shrimp dumplings are a must! The best part was the service! Super efficient and friendly staff! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Nice new spot in Victoria Island. Chic. Good service and good food even if youre not a sushi lover. Its on the pricer side. Drinks, for example, start from around N5,000.Be sure to ask what the specials are. We werent told and only found out about them after wed finished eating.Good spot for dinner with friends or date night. Gets busier later in the evening, so book around 6pm to avoid a crowd.

Koi is a lovely high class Japanese restaurant in VI. If you are looking for fine dining, Koi is definitely the place. The food here is quite pricey so hold your dollars.

Koi is overrated. I was quite disappointed with the Sushi platter, definitely had better and not a Grade 1. Quality matters

Rude annoying overzealous staff walked up to me to sarcastically tell me how to eat sushi. Lucky I was in a good mood. Dont ever try that again but Id never be back. Avoid the 1 star over expensive place.

Dinner experience at Koi restaurant is always a topmost blend of unbeatable ecstasy and royal retreat from the Mixologists at the drink Bar to the tasty and rich organic carefully prepared Suchi to the Spiced western meals. Its a one stop choice for an exclusive evening or date.

Having made a reservation and checked in Kois social media, in which of course, NOTHING was mentioned about a dressing code.My husband was not allowed to get in because he was wearing bermudas. It must be stressed that it was not a beach/old/torn bermuda (or whatever that could be clearly judged as inappropriate), but a fine bermuda with a shirt and sneakers. I was told that they had never had this type of problem before (wow, big of a problem) and that we could dine outside if we wanted but not inside because other customers would complain (yes, of course! Customers busy with their own lives, phones, meals and cocktails would definitely get worried about others people outfits). Finally, the hosts were critical to my loud tone of voice. Come on, arent we in Nigeria? A warm country where the weather is constantly around 30 degrees and in which people are festive and intense? Very very disappointed.
