Good food, really good food,but you should never go there hungry or thirsty,they have the worst table service,youd literally have to beg someone to attend to you,when they finally do,they forget,then you have to beg again,after that,you will wait for 600 years before food comes,and drinks about one hour to get just a shot of Baileys,the food was tasty, sitting space was pretty. I recommend if you just wanna hangout,but not for when youre hungry. Prices arent so bad as well,some are expensive,but you can still eat on a budget.

Superb service, all servers were nice and respectful.Amazing food, love the platter a lot, smells nice and has great flavor. I had the KingFisher Seafood Espedata and it was so nice.Also had the Blue Hawaii cocktail and it was lovely.Cool ambience by the sea.Went on the boat ride for a fee too, it’s paid by the hour.Would recommend the place.

It is a nice and lovely place to be for a sit in dining or seaside hangout experience, boat cruise, tropical Thursday specials and many more with very courteous staffs ready to give quality service. Has a secured parking space and are COVID-19 safety precautions compliant. Indeed the best seafood restaurant in town😁

Service somehow slow but the meals are really nice… I had the T bone streak and my friend had the grill fish and we loved it.

The decor was amazing, 10/10. But unfortunately, the service was snail paced, what was supposed to be an hours detour took three and someone in my party went to use the toilet and encountered no water to use and wash his hands. Very troubling, especially in these times.

Very chill spot by the waterside. The music volume is just right. Very fresh air. Good array of drinks. They had ran out of certain drinks on the day I visited. However, they have an extensive menu with all kinds of drinks and meals. The food is very good. They also have a jetty so you can arrive the spot via boat or jet ski. The place has a nice theme.

HmmmMy experience at King Fisher,So tell me where would you like me to start from?I had to look for a place to hang out with my family to celebrate my mothers birthday and my aunt hooked me up with Kingfisher Africa, got there, and entered the wrong place as they had another sit out there... So, we were told it was at the back.We finally, located the place, and I was in awe. We booked the inside because it was a close gathering but the outside was also beautiful as it was facing the sea. You can only imagine.The food was served, different course as to the amount that was paid and I can tell you it was delicious. We ate well and we were filled and happy. We even ordered food home.The only issue I had with them was at some point they were so slow...God, we were waiting for our order, and it also wanted to take time but man must eat (lol).Also, the restroom water finished and it was difficult to use it as you would find an issue washing your hands and cleaning up, I should say maybe it was an oversight but it was a turn-off for me.Aside from those two ugly scenarios...We had fun, real family fun and the location isnt that bad. It is very open and easily accessible. So close to the road.Would definitely love to try it again...See the pictures below to see my awesome time out there...

They have nice and polite workers but their mock tails and cocktails were not so nice. And yeah I got a new drink when an insect perched inside my drink. And my friend got free fries when she didn’t enjoy her penne Alfredo.It’s overlooking the waters so that’s a nice view.

If you want a mad variety of food that tastes delectable, KINGFISHER AFRICA is the way forward. There’s an ambience for everyone; be it the water front couches, the high tables elevated from the ground, or the couched within the foliage OR the indoor cigar lounge space. Staff are really polite and well trained, felt very welcome here. It gets really busy in the evenings even on weekdays. They show football matches and draw a diverse crowd but predominantly young (mid-20s to middle aged) crowd.Food was good for the cost and the menu is very varied. You could try a variety of things if you come in a large enough group alternatively visit multiple times to try different things as its inexpensive and executed well.Service - 5/5Food - 4/5Ambience - 3/5Cost - 5/5

Great spot in Lekki on a river. It took forever to bring the starters and the main dish but it was tasty, i had gizdodo for starters then the giant grilled fish as the main dish. Was a bit crowded for me but i enjoyed my time there.

This is a beautiful spot for a hang out. There is an indoor and outdoor sitting but the outdoor is mostly used because its by the seaside. There is also a room for kiddies (not sure what goes on in there). U dont need to ask for a menu as you can easily scan a barcode. Theres ample parking space but theres a possibility youll have to park outside. The waiters are prompt and the drinks are served on time but youll wait awhile for your meal...approx 45mins. The meals & drinks are also affordable and the ambience is cool. I would definitely visit there again. PS, its usually rowdy on a daily from 6pm.

One of the few seaside places in Lagos that does not smell foul, so thats definitely a plus.Really tasty food every time. 4 stars because the food takes forever to get to you, but the ambience, the food make up for it.

If you want to have a relaxing meal by the water , this is not a bad place to visit. However, the breeze during the rainy season can make it a bit too chilly. The Kingfisher Tbone was a hit especially with the 3 sauces it comes with. On the down side, there were really big flies that also wanted a taste of the meal so you may have to battle with keeping them off. For those that need a jetty, this place has you covered.

Visited this spot yesterday and it was surprisingly cool. Kingfisher faces a waterfront, so watching boats and jet skis cruise on water was the highlight of this location. It also has good music, relatively good food, chilly sauce was hot and spicy, loved it. I liked the fact that it had two different settings for hangout, and indoor spot almost like Rhapsody, fantastic bar, quiet, comfortable sofas and loveseats, good for business meetings and classy meet ups. Then its outdoors, serving you good music, deliciously grilled chicken and whatever else you want. However, youll need to have some patience when ordering a meal as foods are made fresh. But over all, nice nice for families too and friends.

Gréât waterside ambiance. A sure place to go for drinks.They delay a lot when it comes to food. Orders are very slow to show up and their platters taste just okay, nothing spectacular about them.Would recommend as a sure place for drinks (don’t expect the cocktails to blow your mind though).

Restaurant by the lagoon 😁. The setting was good. We didnt know it was behind another restaurant.Once we settled down had a nice welcome and took our orders. We had the seafood meldy with giant prawns and crabs with squids and salads.Oh my had a good one here food was nice and tasty..

The SEAFOOD MEDLEY was one of the biggest culinary disappointments i have ever had. Four pieces of what appeared to be squid/octopus cuts and 3 King prawns made up 1/3 of the platter. Another 1/3 of the platter was made of just crab legs. There was almost nothing to eat, for the grand price of N20,000. Oh, the last 1/3 was lettuce and other vegetables.We complained to the nice waitress and the manager. They acknowledged that our platter seemed to be full of inedible appendages only. of course they apologised, but that was it.I was STILL hungry so hubby and I went to a proper restaurant, and ate again, for a quarter of the price.Everything also had a bitter aftertaste.Dang.

Came out here just to have drinks but then decided to order some food and I didnt regret it. There wasnt a lot going on but the little things were done really well and I appreciate that.The service was good, very prompt. They ambience was great. The food was also great and reasonably priced. Definitely coming back here.

It was a lovely visit, food is great, bathrooms and surroundings was clean, the security and bouncers were very professional. The waterside really stinks, thats more a pollution problem. The indoor section is nice too, not overcrowded with tables and chairs, done up nicely with blue contemporary furniture. Friday nights are always busy in Lagos hangouts. This is usually reflected in order delay times and wait staff looking frazzled and overwhelmed. Our drinks order took a while and when it was brought, it was taken to another table because it was brought by another waiter. There was also delay in paying Bills.Recommendation: Assign a wait staff to a table during your busy nights. There should be a duplicate bill on the table for every order served. It eliminates waiting for cashier to run up bill when theres a queue of bills to be served. Cheers.

Great place to be....the food is amazing...but the downside is that the waiters can sometimes forget to attend to you on arrival and also after placing orders, this has happened 2ce, the food, you see several of them idle without proactively checking if all customers have been attended to, as if they have a list of special customers...almost like you need to have your own snack or drink to hold body whilst waiting for their service

Sea breeze. Night life. You can come by land or you can come in through the water. Nice atmosphere with good finger foods, food and cocktails. I think they had issue with their service on this day I visited. Thats why I gave them that rating.

This spot is truly a Kings spot on Admiralty. It opens up to the ocean waters and gives it a tranquility not found in many other places. They get 4 stars cuz the drinks are quite pricey and service could be tweaked to be a bit better. They serve a variety of things to eat and drink so its a place worth checking out.

Nothing spectacular about Kingfisher. It’s a nice place by the sea. Gets chilly at night. It’s by the water and because the water isn’t clean there are a lot of flies; Which makes eating tedious and not very sanitary. But the view is fantastic. The food is decent. The service was average and there isn’t a lot of parking space.Best enjoyed with company perhaps.

Really nice place. There an indoor restaurant and theres another sitting area by the water. I had Asun-dodo and Giz-dodo and they were really tasty, although be mindful of how peppery the giz-dodo can get🥵. Drinks are fair, prices are relatively inexpensive and their customer service is top notch!💯💯💯

My guys wanted us to hangout last night and one suggested Kingfisher. I kicked against it because of past experiences but majority wanted to go so I had no choice. Kingfisher has improved beyond my expectations! Unlike before that I had to wait for so long, last night was different. Everything was fast, their services improved. Wow, I was so impressed that I thought I was somewhere else. Kingfisher, I’m coming back!

Had a bad experience last night. I took a date out. So due to the noise from the loud music I had to go inside. I had to pat myself at the back because of the serenity experienced compared to outside. It wasnt long someone came in and opened all the doors so we that are inside could be unconvinced again. I complained about this but ignored. My night was ruined.

Wonderful experience , live on the same street for 6 years but never went in,until my lovely friends invited me for lunch and voila..Clement served us and the rest of team were very polite...keep up the good work very neat....

Kingfisher was a perfect blend of Seaside + Seafood 😌Yea, I don’t like outings during festivities because places get crowded but there was an almost seamless management of crowd here.Although our order took a while, when it came it was worth the wait.While waiting I had the pleasure of enjoying the view with a glass of sweet-white-wine.Ps: White wine is my latest addiction 🥴

This is a clear case of the underling overtaking the master. Set behind the once far more popular Marco Polo Chinese restaurant, Kingfisher has become the main draw to the complex. Excellent food, excellent service, and sitting right on the edge of the lagoon with excellent views, its no surprise its doing so well. Comes highly recommended.

Kingfisher is a nice place, went there for the first time this week. For starters we had enchiladas( see my rhyme 😁) My companion told me that enchiladas are supposed to be a bit more solid to handle- this one kept falling apart, but it was tasty all the same.For mains we had pasta-something, can’t remember the name. There was sea food in it. But, the shrimps were too small, which was disappointing because the shrimp and pasta should go together as you eat. There was also a little too much oil at the bottom of the plate and the pasta was not “al dente”. Service was quick & the waitress was pleasant.Overall, I enjoyed the meal and the view of the water made it even more enjoyable.

Kingfisher Africa is a nice place to be. The open Bar has a cool seaside view, the staff are active, nice ambience. You should just go experience it for yourself

It’s an outdoor restaurant. It’s always full with people on weekends especially Saturdays. It’s not a restaurant to visit during rainy season. Food is affordable & well prepared, oh yeah I wasn’t given a serviette

First time I came here, I really enjoyed it.....fast forward some months and I am wondering what really changed.Of course, ambience is still intact and all smooth. However, the waiters need to up their game. From slow service to flat beer with dragging replacement to unavailability of the desired platter. How can you return almost 30 mins after order was placed to tell me you are out of snails 😩Lastly, some ppl were smoking weed around. For a family friendly eating area, this is pretty bad.Apart from the few issue, still a solid hangout spot if you don’t mind staying in the Budweiser bar inside.

Located at the back of the Marcopolo Restaurant is Kingfisher which is a superb. The atmosphere and the food was great. I thoroughly enjoyed each meal. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star is because the service was abit slow and the bathroom was dodgy. The food compensated adequately for those, the Carfish and Crab Peppersoup is a must try!! The menu is very exhaustive with lots of options(not only seafood- I assumed it was a purely seafood restaurant 😊)

The menu at kingfisher has an array of meals that would cater to almost every taste. The ambience is lovely, however you dont want to make this a spot for lunch or anytime the sun us up, its extremely hot even under the shade and the fans do little to cool you. There were files , although they did bring some kind of repellant wipes and insence but didnt last long as the flies were back really quick. I suggest they invest in those electric fly traps to curb this. we couldnt really enjoy our meal due to the flies. I rushed mine and my friend had to pack hers The food was really tasty, although it took longer than acceptable to arrive but when it did, the deliciousness and the portioning made up for the long wait. Not many restaurants in lagos actually put effort in the taste of their food. Kingfisher did that. Keep it up

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. The outdoor bar is on top of the water which makes it super cool in the evenings. Downside is don’t sit on the tables at the edge of the bar very close to the water because your phone might fall inside the river just like my friend”s phone did.

MY FIRST TIME HERE - NEVER GOING BACK.Horrible service. The menu is also a lie. Make sure you ask them whats comes with what when ordering. For example, I ordered suya and on the menu it said it comes with fried sweet potatoes on the side. This was after I waited for about 20mins just for someone to look my way and attend to me. Even when someone did, they say I will call someone else to take your order (very disorganised). I had to take out my food cause they had wasted so much time just to take my order.Anyways, when I got my bill they charged my fries separately and the girl boldly said the menu says it comes together but in reality it doesnt!!!! WOW!! NEVER AGAIN!

This restaurant is not your lunch spot , too many flies and they don’t have any efficient method to control them, we had to literally request that the entire meal be packaged for takeaway. The managers attitude was horrible.The prices are very good. Nice selection of menu and the food is lovely too. An ideal place for dinner or drinks. The taxes imposed on customers are way too much but you can always complain, they just might exclude it. They taxed me 9k but it was excluded after I bitterly complained.

We had quite a horrible experience here. Even though they have nice cocktails. Food took about 2hrs 30 mins to get prepared. When we complained the waitress said didnt she tell us it would take a while, now how long was a while, she answered that she cant decide as she wasnt the cook.Top preference was given to White people and Women who came with men. We kept being overlooked and no apologies were tendered. So if you are a single lady going with female friends, a seat wont be offered to you even if one becomes available. It will instead be offered to those that came after you.Zero organization.

I like the ambiance, lagoon side, nice decorations from inside, easy to locate and really nice for chilling.

Had a rotten lemon in my soda and lemon, and the tiger prawns were off. While service left much to be desired in terms of waiting time, the lady who served us was absolutely pleasant.

Stress. Waiters running around to achieve their sales. Terrible.
