The best local kitchen I have come across. Very neat and well organised. Cheerful and professional service. Immaculately clean rest rooms. Open air kitchen which gives one the sense that one could even eat off the kitchens floor. Highly recommended - could easily be my every day lunch supplier! Well done
Its ok. The environment needs to be improved on.
Some might not really like their food but I can bet the place is extremely clean
If you desire is to have affordable dishes in a clean environment, a visit to this restaurant will satisfy that desire. You wouldnt regret it.
Iya-eba was nice as usual, they always delight me Everytime I eat there.
Hot spicy stew with white rice. Always delicious
Beautiful placeTheir Fish Stew is Superb
This one nah we own. Forget all those eateries nah only name them get.
Food unreasonably expensive. Not impressed at all
Nice food,neat as well!
Nice one
Delicious meals
Always fresh food
Cool Yoruba restaurant
D food is good and the environment is neat
Better wakis
The food was nice
Fantastic place
Fine family cooking Very importable
Nice place on the island....
Irregular services & lying attendants
Nice
The food is too expensive
A wonderful place for locally made food which include Eba, Semo, Amala, Rice with varieties of meats, fishes and hides (ponmo). You can as well get your cold beverages and water there. A great place to be
If your reason for visiting is to enjoy traditional Yoruba or local delicacies then you have come to the right place. My advice for anyone driving down from the mainland is to look for a public carpark to park as the space outside may not accommodate much cars. My 4 star rating based on the taste of the food, finito!
Cool place
Nice food and ambience
Great tasting home cooking.
Good choice of local dishes. Fairly okay prices too.
Lovely authentic Nigerian food served all day. Very popular with ex-pats. Lovely and friendly atmosphere. Great meals every time.
Good but needs renovation
A good restaurant for correct swallows. The price is pocket friendly considering its location and expect to see alot of guys and ladies on suit!😀
If you like local flavor on the island, this is it. No frills... Just food in eko setting
Iya Eba sells food indigenous to Nigerians. Their food is tasty and people who want to have a good meal of Amala and Ewedu, Pounded Yam and Egusi or Vegetable soup (Efo - riro), rice and beans etc. will enjoy their food.In the evenings, not all these foods are available depending on the time you get there, but theyll usually have catfish and goat meat pepper soup with drinks for people who want to relax and chill after work, in the evening.
The attendants were rood.
Very good place if youre looking for traditional Yoruba food. The food tastes great though the environment could be better
Satisfying as always.
Beautiful space. Very Nigerian. Nothing continental or foreign. The name says it all but food is good.
I rated 2 star, because the eatery thou a little big and a bit conducive but no parking space. There are thugs outside which needs be settled before you can park
Very yummy
Cool
Been eating here for 10years and I’ve never regretted
Good food it was good experience
Iya eba is just an awesome bukka (term used to describe ready to eat and affordable food)...cant go wrong.
Good and affordable local meals.
A typical local food joint. Food tastes amazing and as expected not expensive at all. If you need local food that tastes nice and neatly done, here is the place. My favourite meals here are Amala with the buka stew and gbegiri then Rice and stew. The downside is the location as the road is a bit tight and in the corner of the street.
Good location for a quick local food on the island.
Nice place to be
Good meals, improved customer service and quite affordable. But you guys are now a monitoring spirit now sha. Regards
It was excellent, great food nice varieties
A good place to get sumptuous African dishes.
Great
Nice food but the ladies are rude. Expensive too watch your pocket to avoid problem as one would think these meals are cheap. Just ignore and enjoy your meal
Just the regular buka place...if you a native ..you will like it...but they never do have change ....
The place is pretty understaffed , especially during rush hour . Waiting time is long
One of the popular buka joints for local dishes. Prices are slightly above average but you get your moneys worth
Our Isale Eko joint for people of like minds and joyous fellows
Local food.. Amala, Fufu, and so on is available and taste is alright... I watched a man selecting meat with passion...LOL
Good place to eat and relax off-work. Affordable foods and drinks, very courteous and friendly staff.
I rated this place a ‘2’, not because the food is bad, the food is actually quite decent. Customer service is however zero. And God help you if you buy food and you have to collect “change”.
Local delicacies at affordable price in a modest environment
The food is good but as usual customer service was not so great (as is the norm with mama puts anyway 🙂
Oh my goodness, fantastic place to eat
This was okay. Slightly expensive for a mama put style outfit, but the food wasnt bad.
The food is good especially their pepper rice.not much space for packing
Nice meal I got from there today
Good home cooking. Pleasant atmosphere.
A lovely corner piece space of hot pepperish Nigerian delicacies located at the Obalende/TBS/Muson axis of Lagos Island. Frequented by a lot of corporates due to its location, Iya Eba restaurant has a rich menu of tasty Naija delicacies. Theres also a rich reservoir of very cold drinks, both soft and alchoholic. Service is above average, the ambiance is commendable and ample parking space is available.
Nice food canteen near and great staff
For good quality Amala though a bit pricey
Awesome Experience
Good food
Old school, peppersoup and white rice in the evening from 6PM. On point
Very lovely local rice and pepper stew
Good dishes and good customer service
Just an okay place. Not that special. It would be nice if the food come a little bit hotter.
Good
Good
You cannot live and work on the Island without visiting Iya-eba.
Local setting but nice meat & fish pepper soup, very clean and friendly matron
Amazing palm oil stew..
Good food but they lack customer service!
They serve most Nigerian dishes and it is located in a serene neighbourhood. Most offices workers around the area come here during lunch to get Nigerian dishes like eba, fifu, rice etc
Interesting environment tight but the food is good as in best local cuisine friendly staff
Excellent place for local Yoruba food but better to be there before 3pm
Lagos Institution for decades. Iya Eba has remained consistent in its quality. The food is relatively expensive when compared to other restaurants including the quick service chains, but you get something unique for your money. Quality like home cooked meals.Ask for the amala and other starch meals. There are better value bukkas for the rice and et cetera dishes.Accepts cards & cash.
Correct food but the woman is very arrogant
Good and loving atmosphere
Nice ask for goat meat soup for rice
Shaki, edo, ahon, abodi and ese eran with ila and eba washed down with Maltina....nuff said!
Fantastic southwest Nigeria foods. Always sizzling hot
