Great experience, great service even with the noisy group I was with, we honestly had a ball.A group of over 20 well attended too, on time and no attitude. I would definitely recommend this as a great chill out / hang out spot with friends, the significant other or even alone.Try spending time at both the Restaurant and Rooftop, you will be glad you did.

Easy to locate. The staff are friendly and communicate well. The ambience is simple and sticks to the theme. There are good variety of options on the food and drinks menu and a childrens menu too.Food did take longer than expected to come out, but it was nice. I had the Habibi and Harlem which were both nice, but the fries that came with the Harlem werent nice at all, couldnt eat them.There were also various mix ups in our order.Prices are fair for the location also.Was a decent experience for the first time.

Here’s a double decker kinda space, the first space is indoors with nice African artworks in view, it’s cozy while the second space at the upper level is an open space, say rooftop with the iconic Danfo-Bar, it’s nice👌I had a hard choosing a meal here partly because I wasn’t really hungry, eventually settled for a Sandwich with French fries accompanied by chocolate milkshake which I enjoyed very much.The customer service was commendable, considering my indecisiveness that day first, with choice of space and then meal.I had a fun time at the space and would have stayed longer if not that I lived at the opposite end of the city and heading back was pretty much like a journey…I’ll be back.

I guess the entertainment on Wednesdays is awesome however, what is entertainment without an enjoyable meal😁? I ordered for Ceaser Salad and got a plate mixed with lettuce, cheese, bread and a few slices of chicken. One of the waiters said Thats how we make our own Caeser Salad when I called her attention to the error. Well, who knows, Ill probably give it another try but this time, order a different meal.

Lovely unique hang out spot!Parking lot is large.The rooftop has a very nice view with the famous danfo bus but may not be advisable if you dont smoke or if you have allergies.Meanwhile they have indoor seating too which is cool and decorated in a unique style!Menu has a variety of things with interesting names.I wasnt pleased to hear that they didnt have ingredients for mojito on a Friday night.Looking forward to visiting again soon

When you are with IJGB abs you don’t want to get into serious dishes, Danfo is the place to take them. From the chilled ambience upstairs to the choice of music, this is the place you just want to feel lazy and be taken care off. Considering I was still going out, made it safe with sandwich and my friend had ewa agonyin with bread.The place is neat and full of good vibes if you are an outgoing one.The bartender also Sabi work and would advice you go with one of the cocktails.An easy 9/10 for me to be honest due to sloppy waiters.

The ambience is absolutely exceptional. Everything you can ask for in interior decor is present here. The stairs are a bit tight but in general, the place is a winner.

Danfo bistros location is easy to find and the ambience is heating. The murals are really beautiful and the danfo infusion is really beautiful. However, my experience was not so great. I visited around 10pm and the DJ and kitchen had closed so they only had drinks at the time. I will recommend visitations during the day if you are visiting for the food.

A place with a relaxing ambience. Either you stay in the indoor restaurant or outdoor area above, youd enjoy the artistic use of recycled materials and African fabric used to beautifying everywhere. Great food and drinks menu as well

Lovely restaurant, unique n classy interior, all healthy n fruit drinks available, superb food varieties available, no local dish. No wheelchair entrance bcos its upstairs. Spacious parking. Lastly, things are very costly but its worth it.

Danfo is a good place to chill, nice vibes, with a mix of industrial and transitional styled interior, with a open roof dining area, not enough lightining for pictures, Good parking space, it’s located in a complex that has other stores,The menu is very stream lined nothing too fancy and if you don’t like soft plantain so much it’s quite restricted, the meals don’t come with any protein, it has to be ordered separately, Menu is like a bit of Alte Nigerian food. The burgers are quite niceIn all I think the price of the food is affordable for the quantity but I was turned off by having to order proteins separately , The taste is 7/10It’s a good place to chillThey have a wide range of alcoholic drinks but very limited non alcoholic drinks..

Danfo Bistro is a lovely place to eat the best of Lagos urban foods such as Suya, Ewa Agoyin and Agege Bread, Jollof Rice and Chicken, .Boli and Groundnuts, and different varieties of smoothies.

Danfo Bistro is at the heart of Ikoyi, on a popular street. Local dishes are served with a twist and pizzazz.The meal I had was great. Hot, spicy and Nicely cooked as desired. The portion for the bread and beans was filling.The menu is scanned via a bar code, this is helpful as it’s COVID compliant. The staff was also helpful and polite in choosing meals and recommendations.It’s easy to find as its located in a plaza. Parking space is also good as the location is spacious.The ambiance is nice. There is indoor and outdoor sitting and the decor is a Morden twist to African interiors. This is seen in the design of the tables and sofas.Fun fact - when you sit outside, you actually hear the sound of conductors calling out to passengers to enter their danfos (local transport). This makes the experience at the Resturant even more beautiful.

Nice ambiance. But, staff needs training. The burger was rare though they never asked how we wanted it. We eventually waited 15 minutes to prepare another one. To our surprise, the meat was raw too. The chef gave us a funny excuse and begged us to wait for another burger.

I love the ambience and the set up. The food too was great.My only reservation was me being given a menu and completely forgotten, that wasnt so fair.The lady who finally attended to me, Joy, is a gem. Workers like her should be rewarded .For a first timer, I enjoyed myself.

From the yellow bus (Danfo) Aesthetics, to the famous ewa agoyin they sell. Amazing food but poor customer service. Bistro meets Buka vibe is what I can describe from my experience at Danfo. Their menu design is unique even with the long list of local delicacies. Every time Ive visited this place and tried something new Im always wowed by the flavours of the meal. If you want local street dishes or if you want a really posh meal, they have something for everyone. Love the place and will go back for more.

Upscale restaurant in an upscale area. Great ambience and very lovely eating experience. Theirs was one of my best lemonades ever - almost veering towards a mojito! Attracts quite some elite diners. The interior decor tries to incorporate themes from everyday Lagos, making you feel it’s quite a ‘chill’ place to go. Again, I give multiple kudos to their food.

Had dinner with a group of friends one week ago: I had pasta with plantain, Somehow I cannot find the picture of my food but it was heavenly. The ambience is great and creative. The menu is also full of variety and a twist to the local meals. And out of 7 of us, none of us had a complaint. I called during the week from work to see if they deliver food but they don’t. I will definitely be going back soon.

They intentionally dont give u water to wash your hands if u order swallow like pounded yam and they dont have a wash tap in the restaurant so u have to go to the toilet to wash your hands meaning u have to leave your food, I complained a few times and till now they have refused to make adjustments ...not sure why..also check your order before u leave if take away sometimes they forget to put some of your order in the takeaway pack... other than that food and ambience is cool...its an OK restaurant...

The manager deserves 500 stars! I came for some Ramen and there was a mistake made in my order. The manager immediately came and offer her apologies, treated me to some chips while I waited for my new ramen and made my day with a delicious meal, custom made to fit my needs as a vegetarian. Will definitely come back...

This place has a cool alt vibe; mixed with local elements which reflect in the music, the manner of dressing- even the decor right to the bathroom.The food is an interesting twist on popular Nigerian meals. Best to ask for a proper description before you order, except you don’t mind being shocked, like my friend was with this “sandwich”. Lol!Note that it’s kinda pricey too.

Danfo is such a lovely concept and the decor is incredibly intentional in its representation of Lagos - pretentious, Afrocentric, colorful, incoherent and a joy to be in. The food is also very delicious even though three times in a row, my specifications about pepper and other taste requirements have been ignored, which made the food inbearable to ear. Otherwise, the other meals tasted good.

Oh! Lord!!! This place is amazing!!!! The interior design and decoration got me thinking. They simply made everything look and feel beautiful. Their menu isnt cheap but it is well worth it. Everything about danfo bistro was painstakingly thought out up to the trays and cutlery. It took quite a while for the food to be ready though but it came tasty and great! I totally enjoyed my barely 2 and a half hour time out at this awesome space. The staff and waiters just kept smiling and showing up to know what else we needed. The Ankara chairs and wooded tables, the sexy lights and creative lamp holders, the tables plated with car plate numbers, the colourful bar stools and all, the food and the laughter . . . turned my night to a whole wide world of dreams! This is arguably one of the most beautiful places Ive been this year. It is surely my own kind of place to seat out, relax and enjoy. NB: I didnt find my darling Guinness Foreign extra there anyway. Why??????

The ambience is Afro urban and relaxing. However, if you love discreet then you might not want to make Danfo Bristo your regular lounge as you can be seen by almost everyone while driving or walking in. I had a cup of milkshake with was definitely not good. Their cocktail was good.. In summary, Ambience is great, food not so great.

The Danfo Bistro was a massive disappointment for me. I finally visited after so much rave! I had been looking forward to it for a while, so my expectation was a bit heightened. We were informed 40 minutes into our order that something was wrong with the cooker! So our orders took 1 hour 20 minutes!! I was patient because I wanted to experience a slice of the pop culture this place represents. The bread was stale, the beans was cold, perhaps someone forgot to heat it up after the cooker came back up & just slammed the dodo on it. To top it up, I found 1 long eye lash in my Caesar salad! I dont wanna say Im never going back because the Danfo Bistro has so much potential! But its management should take notice & do something fast!!

My ORDER- Naija spaghetti Bolognese- Ewa Agoyin___________________________________________REVIEWI had soooooo much expectations visiting this restaurant especially at the time there was such a huge rave about this restaurant, most especially about the ewa agoyin & bread saga.The interior decor is an actual sight to behold - I must say - it was pretty colorful.I liked the food presentation, it’s like I paid for the presentation of food THAN the actual food. It was delicately presented, nothing was out of place. You see the food & you can tell efforts went into présentation.From what I remember from my order? Both order tasted good. The ewa ago yin tasted local enough, nothing major. I didn’t enjoy eating the ewa ago-yin because of the oil, there was no plate, legit had to be extremely cautious eating this. I enjoyed eating the spaghetti - i thought it was nice.In regards to price - I thought their food was overpriced 🤷🏾‍♀️ really could have gotten their food quality at a cheaper price.My highlight coming here was the artwork, I found it very interesting to look at. Very colorful. I also liked that I had a view, I could see the road & just see cars passing by.

A nice and unique space with equally unique food that is different from the usual but still as good. Their drinks menu can be quite confusing because of their names but they have some tradition options available. It is also great to see that the ambience carries and communicates the true Lagos elements that bring their name to life.

Good place for a calm breakfast. I recommend the Fish (in batter) and sweet potato chips. Crisp and courteous staff, but they need to add to their hot cups. Unfortunately there was no Cappuccino, no cafe latte and no chai latte, just a small set of simple coffees and teas.

Danfo Bistro is a true to theme spot! Walking in the space isn’t the biggest but when you look closer that’s where the beauty lies. Old license plates are are fashioned into lamp/bulb holders, some glass tables have the license plates inside them and one even has an entire Danfo bus door inside! The open air space upstairs is also lovely and open and has a hollowed out Danfo bus serving as a bar of sorts! If you’re all about aesthetics, Danfo Bistro will be a great one for you. For the food I had nothing but praise for it! The appetizer which was some yam chips ( thinly sliced ) with beef sauce was simply scrumptious! The Ewagoin was divine and the Spaghetti was creamy and lovely. The portions however could be larger but that can be easily overlooked. The Sangria however was nothing mind blowing at all, it was a bit underwhelming and over priced for what you get. Their drinks selection was also a bit underwhelming but that could be because they said their drinks menu was still being worked on. The food is a bit of the high side depending on who you are but it’s worth it. Overall, it’s a must visit. I will definitely be going again to try out other things in the menu.

Danfo Bistro has an enjoyable atmosphere, excellent interior which incorporates the Lagos feel, as for eating, I will say a little quiet. The meal menu is quite weak as there arent many exciting options, the drinks menu on the other hand is very satisfying.A good experience overall.

This is the best cool place in Ikoyi. The entrance is on Alexander with other cool small shops all containerized. One thing they got right is the menu. It has the perfect blend of classic dining food infused with local Nigerian flavors and ingredients. This theme is reflected from the sandwiches all the way to the drinks.

Great ambience on the roof top. I recommend the crispy onion rings and the zobo sangria.A free sport for all you people watchers is theres lots of busy bodies who lounge just to take a million pictures for the gram is a sight to behold!

Cool restaurant with a unique ‘Lagos’ theme that resonates with the physical layout, the menu and the waiters who are called ‘conductors’. It’s quite pricey for a bistro though and it also takes too long to get your meal. The staff are really nice and ambience is cool. The dining area is not so wide but it gets the job done.

I love the space and the vibe. Plus what I ordered was very filling and fantastic 😋. I think its their new menu - EwaG scotch egg or something. Eitherways it was fantastic and totally what the price.

There was quite a buzz about this place when it first opened and so I was really looking forward to visiting. I must say that I was pleased that I did. The ambience has been very creatively done and has got a bit of a traditional and retro feel to it. I had veggie ramen noodles (although I got a prawn added to it) and it was quite tasty. The waiters looked very neatly dressed and appeared professional as well. I would visit again.
