Community Primary school Wasimi was founded in 23rd February 1982 by the then Lagos State Governor Alhaji Lateef Jakande. The school was founded in the year 1982 by Lagos State Governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande. The land where the school was located was given by Hon. Chief Maja while handed over to Chief (Alhaji) Adisa Jimoh Lawal, (the Baale of Wasimi Community). The mission of the school is to inculcate spirit of self disciplined and in dependency in various aspects of life through technique and regular involvement in extra curricular activities.
