It is a God ordained sanctuary where I grew up during my childhood days till date and where unbelievable, unexplainable, unimaginable miraculous works of our Lord Jesus Christ shows forth effortlessly.You, yes you really truly need to be part of the awesome wonderful works of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a highly iconic place among members of the Redeemed Christian Church. It is a historic and hugely revered place as well. It is kid-friendly. Theres adequate provision for enough number of cars to park. It is easily accessible and can be sighted whilst either walking or driving by.

Throne of grace as it name implies as our National headquarters is a place of worship, training for discipleship, where praises goes on, prayer and solid word of God and it has a view of the ocean behind it and a well spacious carpark

The RCCG was founded in 1952 by Nigerian pastor Josiah Akindayomi (1909–1980) after he had been involved in several other churches. In the early 1970s Akindayomi started to look for an educated successor who was not at that time a member of the church. He chose Enoch Adeboye, a lecturer in mathematics at the University of Lagos, who joined the church in 1973. Adeboye initially became one of the interpreters translating Akindayomis sermons from Yoruba to English. He was ordained a pastor of the church in 1975, and his appointment as leader of the church was formalized by the posthumous reading of Akindayomis sealed pronouncement.Andrew Rice, writing in The New York Times, calls the RCCG one of [Africas] most vigorously expansionary religious movements, a homegrown Pentecostal denomination that is crusading to become a global faith. According to Daniel Ajayi-Adeniran, a pastor of the church, In every household there will be at least one member of Redeemed Christian Church of God in the whole world.
