It is good that such a place exists. I think it is great stride towards establishing an order in the midst of the chaos that is Lagos. There is a central ticket office where fare payments are made and bus stands are numbered. It will be nice to see departure times introduced and bus stand numbers reflected on tickets.

This is an awesome place to board vehicles interstate. Put in mind to be really careful of hooligans as they are everywhere looking out for who to loot. More measures should be in place as regards security. In total this is a good place and its easy to spot vehicles for your desired destination.

Owned by the government, tickets sold by the terminal operators at the Ticket Booth. The bus standards are not inspected. Rickety buses and all. You can get as bus to other cities in the south west here. Ibadan, Abeokuta, Ife etc Oshodi has 4 terminals in one. Ensure its terminal 1. Other terminal go to different other routes , mostly within Lagos.

Oshodi Bus Terminal1 which was purposely built for brt buses but later it is now being use for inter-state bus loading. It is a very busy area and vehicles are always on ground to convey passengers.Recently long buses are introduced for the purpose of those travelling to the east. This has also increase the number of passengers that visit it daily. One need to also be careful when visiting this place because of hooligans around the point.

Giving this four stars because of the brilliant architecture and how spacious the terminal is. It was well conceived and executed. My concern however is the appropriateness for our climate. It looks good as a world class terminal but I do not think it’s suitable for Nigeria. There isn’t enough daylight inside the building and without major artificial lighting (electricity) it looks like a good haven for miscreants.

Oshodi Bus Terminal 1 is a part of the entire Oshodi Transport Interchange. This terminal is for interstate transportation, owned and managed by the Lagos State Government and other Private stakeholders. You can get bus / car going to places like Ibadan, Ijebu, Osogbo, Ekiti, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Onitsha etc from this terminal. It is a recent and good development in Lagos state and there are facilities like: parking space, elevator, lift, conveniences, waiting area, ticketing booths and others though not yet fully utilized.Inasmuch as it is a recently opened project by the Lagos State Government, much is still to be done to bring this facility up to the international acceptable standard.

The oshodi bus terminal is beautiful. I love the structure and all and I like the convenience to so many locations. I believe the prices are expensive though. Especially the buses that use swipe cards. Its a government funded project so why isnt transport fees subsided?Local buses from Oshodi to places like Ayobo charge N300-N400 and then you see this government buses charging N400. And its supposedly government funded. What gives?I tried to use the terminal restroom and was informed I have to pay N100! For a public bathroom sponsored by the government????Jara restrooms in Ikeja is so well maintained and clean and FREE OF CHARGE! As is the Ikeja BRT terminal building toilet beside it. Granted the brt toilets arent as clean and the doors🤔 susprisingly have been torn off, but its FREE to use. Why is the Oshodi terminal restroom billed?Another downside is the anaconda like queues at the oshodi terminal most times. The queue is actually like that at all terminals and its appalling. I thought the government bought thousands of these buses. Its worse in the evening and you have to queue for hours before getting into the bus. Some dont even have ac🤦🏽‍♀️ I entered one and everyone was screaming heat! The driver pleaded the AC was leaking water but everyone insisted. He turned it on and minutes some passengers were drenched from the AC openings above their heads😱 thats how we managed the heat throughout the journey! Guys check your bus to make sure it has AC before swiping except you are not particular about it. Lagos government, please just try and up your game ok?
