Napex park is my go to place for boat transportation to Takwabay or lighthouse beach.From here, it’s just N1,000 per ride. I haven’t tried CMS before for boats so I can’t compare.The only issue I have with this place is how those security men at the entrance try to charge my bolt drivers parking fees anytime they drop me off. You shouldn’t pay since it’s a drop off. To avoid troubles and arguments I tell the drivers to drop me outside and I walk in. Especially when I don’t have heavy stuffs to carry.

Where to catch the boat to Tarkwa bay Beach

Bad bad experience, unsafe boats with unsafe engine, with untrained operators.

Note they charge 500 naira to enter. Once you get through the gates, head to your left to catch the banana boat to Tarkwa. Decently priced.

My Mekwe. It has the feel of a mini military base, behind American embassy. Used to have cheap food and drinks + all day parking. Access to the water with flying boats that can get you any where in Lagos that is water accessible. Tarkwa Bay is a good choice .

Big outdoor area where you get all sorts of stuff to enjoy. Food, drinks and music. Different stalls to select where to sit and relax.

Ample parking space for your car and you can board canoe to the other side of Lagos

Make it a proper car park not a shanty If you want to attend a meeting or via interview at the US embassy or any of the embassies on Walter Carrington, swing by the NAPEX Car park. It is the only available regulated space to park your vehicle in that vicinity.
