Great place to shop for food commodities. You can get varieties of processed and packaged food products. Kitchens utensils, household appliances, cosmetic products, clothing for kids and adults, local herbs, mini poultry farm and so on can easily be purchased at Ketu market. Prices are fair. The Market is very busy especially in the evening.

Ketu market still remains one of the best open fruit market in Lagos. Stalls are organized. The market is sectioned according to the fruits sold. But you have got to be a bargainer to get your moneys worth.

Fruits are cheap but parking is frustrating. The degree of this frustration depends on the entrance you use. Ikosi entrance is worse as far as parking is concerned. There are miscreants who demands tips from you as if it is their birthday right. The alternative is to park inside the local government in Okosi-which is rarely availableThe main entrance by Ikorodu road inward Lagos Ibadan express road has similar challenges though not as much as Ikosi yet without alternative.Despite the challenges, Ketu market has variety of fresh fruits sold at cheapest price.

Consider it the fruit basket of Lagos - the best option to get all kinds of fruits, especially in bulk, but get ready to get dirty-sweaty and rub body. My advice, dont go with the fine sandal. Your farm shoes should do, especially during the wet seasons!😉😜
