Went thrift (bend down select//okirika) shopping with a friend. Pretty decent prices with clothes that you can restyle to your taste.A bit noisy and very little leg room but if youre looking for something (for those that live/passing by) that axis, youll definitely find it 8 outta 10 times.
The market is easy to locate and the commute around there is quite accessible.
Great place to do shopping. Turkey Clothes, shoes, bags, jewelries all from Mercy Wears, shop b86/87 Ibadan line upstairs. I didnt know such a beautifully stocked shop is in Ikotun.
Ikotun market is a marketplace that is easy to access from multiple locations. Things are affordable there and one of the numerous advantages it offers is the night market activities for those who otherwise maybe unable to shop for food items during day time due to one reason or another. All in all, it offers a good marketing experience.
Ikotun market is a very populated environment in and out because it services a lot of residential communities like Ejigbo, Ikotun, Ijegun, Igando and Idimu. All the aforementioned are densely populated communities. Driving through the Ikotun market round-about is not advisable because of vehicle and human traffic, rather their are alternative routes that will safe you such stress.
You can get affordable items here
You can almost anything from this market and boarding buses going to cms, igando, iyana ipaja, ikeja, mushin, cele and so on.
One of the best place to buy food stuff
So dirty and unfriend to shop. But price seem cheaper and good.
Well...its a market all right but its very muddy and dirty. Prices are good and customer care at some places are excellent. However you have to constantly watch out for incoming vehicles that may make you put yourself in an uncomfortable situation
Crowdy, rowdy, and very difficult to navigate. Needs to be regulated better.
Its a place where you can get both food stuff and clothing material. They have their own small computer village too for phones
A common market setting in the western part of Africa. Its always crowded because alot of needs are available at the market so its quite normal for it to be overcrowded, although the market is not well-structured like some big or international markets but its definitely hard not to find whatever you want to buy.
Things are cheaper at ikotun market fabrics, clothes, food stuffs, bags, phones and repairs. But be mindful of the traffic. There is always a huge traffic at the roundabout
The positive thing about Ikotum market is that you can buy almost anything here. From foodstuff, to smart phones to makeup to clothes to electronics. The place it the most crowdy place there is. And the noise value is over the roof. You can however find buses to many destinations from this place
Is good to go now is okay
A market you cannot exhaust its products and services provisions. However, traffic hold-up is not friendly most especially night time.
Things are affordable here. You need not go to the island to get some things. But its rowdy and crowdy
Really Busy, noisy and rowdy. Always make sure to be careful around Ikotun market
Located along a major road near a busy junction. The typical Nigerian market which always spills into a nearby road hereby creating extension around that vicinity and that contributes to the heavy traffic gridlock witnessed everyday. As usual its a busy market with all sorts of items displayed and at considerable prices (Ill give them that). Of course the evening/night trading hours is a good bet for those with not so deep pocket.
Nice place. dense and very busy. Youll be able to get most stuff there.
An Ultra modern market for all kinds of food stuff and also adults/children wears
Crowdy, but a better choice for fruits, food stuffs and household purchases.
Over crowded, all day traffic congestion, No respect for other road users at Ikotun. If you have alternative just avoid Ikotun round about.
Best market to have all kind of stuffs you wish to get
Best market place for your groceries, kitchen wares, clothes, electronics etc at very good prices....
Nice place and is a place where you can get whatever you want ..
You can find almost everything you need here at convenient prices.
It is a local market located and easily accessible at the heart of ikotun where u can get whatever it is you want. Ranging form foodstuffs, electronics, fabrics etc. And also the help of carriers are available at an affordable cost to carry goods in and out of the market
Highly sufficient market. Theres a place for everything you need. Very affordable too
Ikotun market is beginning to grow into international market for food stuff. Prices of staple foods are competitive, though not yet up to the standard of Mile 12 market.
Ikotun market is one of the biggest market in Lagos State. This market is known for the availability of kinds of goods unlike other markets that specialize in just one kind of goods. In Ikotun, there are clothing lines, grocery, gadgets and appliances, kitchen utensils and more. The market is very big so you are advised to make a list of what you want to get, if not you might end up buying what you didnt intend to buy. You will always something enticing .
Its a good place to get foodstuffs and cooking items
A big market where you get the best bargain for goods and services.❤❤.
It a nice place to get good material and market your goods, though a lot competitors are base in the area of ikotun and makes the fashion market competitive
Ikotun Market is a typical general-purpose open-air market covering a whole large expanse of land.As haphazardly disorganised as the market looks, it is generally divided into sections or grouping bordering on specialisations.I cam assure you, theres almost nothing you need to buy that you cannot get at Ikotun market.
Commercially great, but with pocket of holdup around there
The drainage of the road to the market is bad. Filthy smelling water from the gutters always seen flowing from the road to the market. There is need for good environmental sanitation there.
Do not go except youre used to the worst markets in Lagos, traffic ridden, plagued by beggars. Fairly good prices and banks are close by.
Ikotun market is one of the popular, big markets in Alimosho LGA of Lagos State. The market sits on a large mass of land and attracts a large number of buyers of many different products ranging from food, clothes, electronic and more. The market also accommodates a big motor park from where commuters can access many different parts of Lagos and Ogun states.
Ikotun market is very cool but can be rough with much crowd but things are available and cheap
Its a very busy place, traffic and very good for various businesses and a average residential area
Little bit change but its cool
Ikotun market is a very busy place as it is located at T junction. The market is just by the road and has several shops within it. It is a major market for food items, clothes, shoes, cosmetics and other household items. There is little or no parking space as commercial buses are found occupying most of the parking space. Being close to the road and at a T junction, there are several entrances and exist.
Ikotun market is both a zonal hub for transportation and buying and selling must have experience
Tdelight Phones best store for any Smart Phones
Yesterday I saw their, nice place
This is a market place without the best formation with which to go and make an easy purchases. All its axis are usually choked and blocked up by too many vehicles trying to either make a straight move down to igando, iyana ipaja, egbeda, isheri or turn back to egibo or oshodi. What you often notice about this place is the very much tight traffic jam that is usually frustrating everyone in there and part of this unfortunate traffic jam issues is the fact that most market men and women, sell on the roads and not in the assigned market places no wonder I initially said it lacks a real market formations. You can get all necessary things you need in this market place especially, food items and more so, there are good phone technicians found there too. Just give it a try but Ill warn you dont get found in ikotun during a very heavy down pour of rain as virtually every part of your body is almost covered with water while the huge canal is usually overflown with water to the extent that one would hardly notice if theres water there before making a decision to either continue going or not hence I recommend all necessary careful measures are put in place to ensure one does not get wanting in this regard. Also avoid being found on this ikotun road at the deepest night around 10pm, - 4am cos you have every 98% chances of being robbed and thats if you manage to walk away with your life in place. Be warned! Good night!
Its a market place and a converging point for buyers and sellers as well as touts or agberos as you may call them. Ikotun markets is a also a major bus park for those whose destination is Egbeda, jakande gates, Ejigbo, Isheri, Igando etc Being one of the major markets in the area, there is a very high human and vehicular traffic occasioned by bus drivers who park indiscriminately to get passengers. Avoid this route at night as its not safe and if you are not a fan of traffic like me, use the alternative routes.
Good product prices but too crowded.
This place is not bad in terms of buying food items
No stress at all. Get your things easily
It was nice I bought things very chip
Fair... Needs improvement. So much disorderliness but a great place to probably get anything
A very big and wide market. Easy to find whatever youre looking for except you are not familiar with it. Cheap and affordable goods.
For all home needs you can get it here at good prices, just that there is no car park
A good market for house hold items, food items and other essential items, but not big like Lagos Island Market (Balogun Market) 😀
The place is nice and not too rough
Ikotun market is a busy place, you get anything you Looking for, affordable and quality goods. But also a crowded market, you need to be careful
Very rowdy but a good place to find almost everything you need
Although super crowded, you get most of what youre looking for and at reasonable prices. Its the ideal place to shop.
Its a great place, you get anything you need.
Its public market place; business in large scale. One will certainly get what ever wish for.
Big but untidy. You can get your basic and necessary needs there.
My experience is theres good
One of the best and nice market in lagos to be
A big market place for all your food and good items. Just bad roads in the market
Ikotun market is good and fine where you can sell and buy goods
The market is cool but crowded with no space to walk freely
It a wide market with all you asked for. I know other market will be called the biggest, but to me, Ikotun market, is the largest market. They have several spot for different item. For example, there is a place called Beta Life. When you enter, your eyes will only behold fruit from there still you exist.
Affordable place to shop for basically everything and easily navigable
Ikotu market is a big market and home of business where many people do their business peaceful but some time roughly because of the population.
Good market, buh bad road, vehicle cant access the market. Find a safety place to park first before entering the market.
It is a crowded but good market that could cater for 98% of your household needs
A wholesome market.
Its pretty nice for wears
Good place but rough
You can see almost everything you want here. However, the market roads are bad
Its always busy and rowdy. Starting from walking along the road at Ikotun Bus-stop then entering the market and its much difficult on days when it rains. Evenings witnesses heavy traffic both vehicles and pedestrians.
I really like d map it is very good in direction
Its situated along the road close to the roundabout connecting ijegun Road, igando Road, Ikotun Road and Ejigbo Road
Nice place for food stuffs
This Market is international market. You can buy anything ranging from clothes, shoes, cosmetics, stationeries, jewelry, perfumes, wrist watches, wall clock, groceries, lightings, baking ingredients, bags of rice, beans and etc. It has 3 major entrance and other smaller gates. It also has an open market space where sellers showcase their wares on the floor. It is a crowded place. There is hardly any thing you want to buy that you wont see there. Enjoy your shopping.
Its a nice place to be
Its a market that abounds with varieties of ware. Here, you get value for money and not unnecessarily extorted.
The market is good and u can buy any kind of food stuffs and other valuables like cloth, shoe, bag, phone an its accessories, etc you can also get bus going to various places like oshodi, Egbeda, igando isolo etc there is availability of BRT Buses there also
The market environment neat but traffic was slow due to the activities of commerical buses
A cool market to buy food stuffs and other household materials
Dirty and badly constructed. Wares are displayed even by the roadside and this causes congestion to both road users and passersby
It is a very affordable market. For shiffon tops, its a WOW for me. .Evening market makes a whole lot of sense especially for people who return late
Very nice mkt in Alimosho LG area council
Business hub for Nigerians. I really hope the necessary authority will do something about the commercial buses activities which is causing serious pain through unnecessary traffic
Im always satisfied whenever I shop here
