Here you can get a lot of good fishes, like different types mainly farmed amd imported fishes. The very big ones, the small and plenty in one packages, the ones with shells , scales and even tentacles. And also chicken, frozen chicken at wholesale prices. If you also love to bargain, just go around asking for different prices and remember the place with the least, you can still bargain a little if you are brutal, but trust me there is a lot of good stuff to buy.

Rather that a properly arranged set of shops as I will put it, you have what looks like settlements with all manner shapes and sizes of freezers adorning the whole area. Can be better and more hygiene conscious education is a must for the operators, buyers and sellers. No doubt about getting whatever kind of fish you may be looking for though.

Touring that vicinity, I almost got myself lost, but I was lucky the Google navigator was working appropriately. The market was filled with all sort of varieties and I loosed options.. its a very nice place to get all sort of fishes... Still wondering why there is no wide parking space neither could I see any wheelchair accessible entering. I hope new companies such as banks and the likes can be erected there

I went there to buy Hausa goat. It was amazing to see so many types of fresh and frozen fish. Never knew that such option existed for wholesale fish in Lagos.

Ijora has always been a place to shop for fresh food stuff peppers, frozen foods, and yams et all. However, since the rail construction passed through,it lost some of its allure and is like half the patron it used to record. But still a good buy market if youre neared the island than mile 12 market. Oyingbo market gives a close competition so it keeps the foodstuffs prices fairly competitive.

Dont hate, but love , you can get any species of fresh fish

You can almost every frozen food here. They sell seafoods such as chrimps, prawns, though they dont sell crabs. But if you want frozen fish, chicken, turkey, this is the best place to go. Its a big market and you may likely get the best prices for whatever products you want to o buy.I wish they sell lobsters ....

Ijora fish market is located between the Julius Berger facility and the EKO Electric office. Its a key place to buy frozen foods like fish, Turkey and chicken. Other foodstuffs are sold too.Parking is a MAJOR issue here. Poor sanitation and bad road is also a concern.
