Ill describe Medusa as being just ok; the ambience is alright, price point is moderate, food preparation didnt take too long and the service delivery is fine. The menu however is quite limited in terms of variety (both food and drinks), food itself was just ok (not fantastic but not bad either), the cocktails couldve been better and the seat needed re-cleaning on the night of my visit.Overall, the place is pretty basic.

Full review on my experience @medusa.lounge.________________________________________________Seafood pasta. - 8,000This was my favorite order that night because the other orders had issues.Linguine was al dente, tossed in cream, with white wine sauce, generous amount of seafood & vegetables & then garnished with Parmesan cheese & basil.I’d commend the technique in achieving this dish, everything entered well.________________________________________________Grilled Lobster Tails - 12,500I don’t know what I was expecting with this dish but the size of the tail was really small 🤷🏾‍♀️I thought this was just garnished not like properly seasoned. This came with home made fries which I absolutely loved________________________________________________Grilled Salmon - 12,000I thought this was fried rather than grilled just based off the texture of the salmon. It had a somewhat all round crunchy texture. This was marinated in white wine sauce as well & came with sautéed vegetables & mashed potatoes.________________________________________________Tbone Steak - 10,500This was 250 grams of beef and it didn’t look like t shaped 😭. This wasn’t seasoned & tender enough. This should have stayed longer in the oven.

Hmmm...well...for me I was expecting some fine dining, glitzy experience based on the menu and adverts in IG. But I got just an okay lounge vibe. I really enjoyed my cocktail - the Old Fashioned. The place isnt so large in size. It has a home feel like you have a private lounge. It is more beautiful outside than in the dining area. For the food, I had the Grilled Jumbo Prawns with Hand cut Fries. For me, the Fries was the highlight of the show. This is the only lounge I have been to that actually serves real fries..not the frozen packed french fries sold at the Supermarkets. Real Potatoes, peeled and sliced and fried. I was impressed with that.The only let down for me was the Prawns. I expected grilled prawns on a plate and with a creamy sauce on a side plate. However, it came as Prawns mixed up in sauce and was almost salty. I liked that it was very spicy. However, I didnt like that it came mixed it up in a sauce. It lost the grilled part. I also expected a side of green salad to accompany the meal for the price.The place also has a mini club section upstairs for those looking for a different ambience. It looked cool. I had issues with the rowdiness of the staff with respect to communications over Orders. It was distracting.I dont know if this is ok to say but I didnt quite like the music selection. I guess it also had something to do with sound or the music genre itself.Well I guess for my expectations... it didnt make my evening completely which is why I am giving it a 3star. It is a little pricey compared to the value I was expecting. My cocktail was lovely and cost me N4500. So 3stars for the Cocktail and rustic fresh Potato fries.

It has a beautiful ambience especially the outdoor part.I went upstairs to the bar, thete ate like 3 different bars , upstairs and down stairs.Its a beautiful place

The platter (can’t recall the name) was super tasty. It had just the right amount of spice to get you going.Really beautiful ambience. The lounge upstairs also looked interesting (I was too full to go up the stairs).One of the best platters I have had in Lagos 👏🏽

My first time here.... overall it seems like they were not really opened at the time we arrived , it was rowdy with staffs and all. Cool ambience, lovely space, though construction wasnt as profound as expected (quite a bit of poor calculations, e.g. the entrance water feature spilling water on the ground as well as the wooden ceiling curve that seemed so rough), menu a bit scanty( didnt really have a variety to choose from), but lovely and tasty meals, but in totality, it was quite the scenery.

Really nice, lovely ambience outdoors to sit at, Also quite instagrammable spots indoors.At night they have a mini club upstairs that totally comes alive.Staff are polite although a bit slow in some cases.But all in all, it was a good experience.Ill definitely go again.

Medusa is a very chilled spot that comes alive at night. I loved the mocktail I had (cant remember the name) and the food was good too.It has an enchanting interior and the sit out area is also lovely.

Twas cool here. Beautiful ambience and nice outdoor space. They just need to be a little more improved with their platters especially in the presentation.Over all , ok place.

There was clear segregation, and this was not abt VIP or no VIP. Literally you have to buy a whole bottle of alcohol before you can stay in their club if you are buying mocktail or cocktail they will ask you to go downstairs in the lounge which is so absurd. Asides that the ambience amazing but that segregation alone spoilt my mood and I left. Peace

A rather expensive overpriced club with shady business practices, they change their prices daily based on FX which is a sham. The ViP lounge is sufficient but paying 300k for a table of 4 is sham. Security here is terribly porous.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, The bartenders knew their mixology and it showed in the drinks. theyve the best shisha, we had their special shisha at first I was asking whats so special about the shisha which I got a good explanation from the shisha guy, it was pretty smooth and worth the price than the regular shisha I do have in some restaurants and also their Dj Boogie got everyone up dancing and we had a great time last night...But theres a lot to talk about, its my third time visiting the place and yesterday was fun/good experience than my first time. speaking of my first time their service was really slow from my experience and from observation/discussion I would say these goes to the management team, please do not let your staff have it every single time they mess up. theyre all humans. Youll throw them off for the rest of their shift and they wont be as productive if theyre fresh off a scream session in the back room. Granted, if theres a pattern of unprofessional behavior or if someone makes a huge mistake, this is where you can kick into manager mode and try to change course. But ultimately, your job is not to bring them down when they slip up - its to help them get to a place where they dont make that mistake anymore. If you place all your effort into putting them down, thats where theyll stay...if they even stay at your restaurant.
