The Great Catfish is just awesome. Enjoying it on the terrace on a cool Sunday afternoon was just sublime 👍🏾

The food is absolutely amazing. The portions are so very very generous. Every single meal we had was a hit. Back to back. The chicken in the pepper soup was bad sha but the manager offered to give us something else on the house which I think was very thoughtful.The ambience is also very chill and homely. Only thing is I feel like they could work a little more on the decor to make it mor visually appealing. All in all, I will definitely be visiting again.

Loved the ambience.We sat on the balcony upstairs where we enjoyed the cool breeze.I typically dont like cat fish but was assured by our host that thus was different and indeed it was. As advised by our host, they make (arguably) the best grilled catfish in Lagos.I wonder if anyone shares the same opinion.

The food! The food is delicious and right on budget! I love their grilled meals and fries. The fish practically melts in your mouth. Having hosted paint and Sip sessions a number of times here, none of my guests have complained about their dish... The cocktails and drinks taste good and wont break your bank. The place is ideal for a family brunch or a group hangout. The best seats are on the balcony and upstairs. You can also order and have delivered to you which is great! There is also a Paint and Sip session, which holds at least one a month here which you could join in on.

When it comes to dine and wine, they have all it takes to make your day a memorable one. But they need more of upgrades in the area of staff coordination and Business environmental packaging.

I like the fact you can get tasty local dishes here, and variety of mean and drinks. Problem is it had no sign post, if youve not been here before but directed, you might want to ask for the particular building, other than that, its okay.

Grilled catfish and fries was yummy, yummy. I enjoyed every bit of what I could eat. My suggestions to the restaurant would be to also offer a smaller sized fish. This fish is good enough for two but enormous for one person.Half of it wasted because I couldnt eat it all which means half of my money went down the drain.

The fish is great. Definitely the speciality of this restaurant. Nice atmosphere. The balcony fresh air is lovely way to escape Lagos stress on the island. Will definitely recommend.

Worst grilled catfish I’ve come around to putting in my mouth… man, it was dry like the back-end of the desert and I’m not even exaggerating. To top it off, it was burnt… like proper ‘black-looking burnt’; you can actually taste the ash!Won’t be caught trying it again, not even if I’m paid to; neither should you.For everyone in the review who hyped this up? I like this place because it is quiet and perfect for group hangouts.I tried out their oha soup and jollof rice fiesta when I visited and they were not the greatest but something about the meals screamed “homemade”. Actually, that’s the kind of feel my entire experience had....comfort!Service was slower than expected.They have indoor spaces....downstairs, upstairs and an outdoor space....terrace.Parking isn’t abundant but good enough.

Grilled Cat fish is the only good thing about this place. Lower level smells terrible and is a waste of space. Owner just sits in a corner in hiding all the time, while customers are frustrated at waiters that are always hard to find.

This restaurant is one of those places you wish you knew all along. Their African dishes are sweet like the type your mum or grandma used to cook.On Valentines day my group of five dined here.I had Efo riro for the first time and I was convinced I should broaden my palate for other Nigerian dishes different from the ones I grew up with.The grilled Tilapia with chips and plantains melted like butter in the mouth.There was Yam pepper soup with fish, and THEN afang like it was made in heaven.😭(tears of joy) just remembering the experience.To those two beautiful Bambooka owners. Well done for the standard of your meals. You can be rest assured that I will spread your name.

The food was late .. and when the food came there was no cutlery.. Then the quality of the fish had dropped.. more pepperish than sweet .. I have been a big fan of the fish but to be honest not again .. ...

The food was nice..but there was construction work going on right inside while customers were there and even when their attention was drawn to the noise, they kept at it. I think they could have come early in the morning to do that instead

Hurray! Im the first to review.Really nice place. I love the ambience. Serene terrace bar.Their drinks and food prices are reasonable.Theres a huge TV where you could watch live matches. But they could do with a bit louder music.In all, a great place, especially for a date, cool hangouts, perhaps a quiet birthday or office time-out.

I had no idea what to expect when I walked in, but boy oh boy was I blown away. What i ate was too much for the price i paid. Not to talk of the ambience and the chilling atmosphere. This is one place I will try again and again

Everything youve heard about their fish is 100% correct. Heres an extra: their Jollof/ Basmati rice with prawns, chicken and shrimp will make you both eat in and take away for later enjoyment. Cheers.
