It was also difficult finding the restaurant.There is outdoor dining as well.It had really small parking. You may need to park by the road. It is located in a gated community, so that’s fine.Finally, The food is GREAT!

Decor is stunning !!Id recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Do try their famous Sesame pockets...our most favourite and yes dont miss Tomato soup too.....and it goes on and on....everything is excellent....👍

Quite a cozy place and their food is great. I ordered one of their masala plates and didnt even touch it because the pasta my partner ordered was plenty enough for both of us. Service was great, pretty lights and Im definitely going back to try their bar which looked great too

Sizeable portions, yummy food, good ambiance and fair pricing. One of my favourite places to eat on the mainland!Cons: VAT and service charge are not inclusive in the prices on the menu. The bins at the gate are annoying to see. Can be difficult to locate for some Uber drivers.

Its a lovely place to dine with friends and family. Quite spacious too with very nice ambience and courteous staff.I enjoyed the meal which was served promptly. I would recommend and will definitely visit again.

The meals were nice and the quality decent. The only issue was customer service and wait time. Gypsys Restaurant is a nice quite restaurant hidden somewhere in ilupeju. They serve nice meals and its a nice place for group hangouts. They serve most especially Indian and Chinese meals.

The Chicken Tikka Masala works fine with steamed rice but the steamed rice is not on the menu so watch it, the damage to the pocket. The wait time is short. The waiters will answer any questions about the meals and recommend something for you if youre not sure what to order.Its really great for groups and theres an upstairs area where you can have a nice meal for 2.

Gypsys is quite a beautiful place in the evening.I had their special friend rice and its tasty, nice! Please dont make a mistake of getting 2 platter for 2, 1 platter is enough for 2 people.The Chapman was good too.Gypsys is one nice place to hide away from Lagos hustle and bustle. This small but quaint restaurant is nestled in the heart of Ilupeju, Lagos. They serve Indian and Asian Cuisine. And theyre quite affordable too! Its perfect for a quiet evening dinner. One thing I love about the place is that their portions are great. Ive been there twice and both times I left with a full belly.⠀We had the Chicken Tikka Masala with Butter Naan (This is chicken cubes in thick sauce which we scooped up with Naan which is buttery flat bread.)⠀And shrimp in garlic sauce. If you dont like shrimp or garlic dont order this one. Its heavy on the spices. Id suggest you research a bit beforehand if youre not familiar with Asian food otherwise ordering will take time.⠀One other thing I love about the place is they have ridiculously cheap desserts. Especially try their Veg cutlet. Very good prepared. I have ordered Veg kadhai & Nan. All items are very tasty & delicious. They have outside sitting & inside AC bar too. They have smoking zone as well. Masala tea has a good option too.

It says its an Indian and Chinese restaurant but I think its more Indian. Food was good but the smell of cigarettes still creeps into the non-smoking areas. 😒 The food becomes distasteful once this happens especially for non-smokers.

Too small, everyone could hear every discussion on the other tables. The food wasnt spectacular, probably because Im not Indian.There are better restaurants around. However, its still a good place hidden from the struggles of Lagos.

A reasonably ok place to be within Ilupeju for Indian Cuisine. Although the ambience is better than any other Indian Restaurant in Ilupeju.Food is good, if not great. Good Variety though. Service could have been better, or perhaps, received the same due to late evening weekday presence.Parking is too tight although a lot of room on the streets.

Its cozy place with good personalised service. Food is decent, if one wants a special request they will be more than willing to oblige. Price is decent enough. Its a residential house converted to a restaurant. Open sitting will be good on a cool day or evening. To locate the place its not so easy. Because its well inside lanes.

The cuisine is wonderful! Had the special fried rice with sweet and sour prawn sauce when I went and it was so lovely! Although parking is a bit tight if you drive, but the food makes up for everything!

I loved the ambience and tranquil nature of this restaurant. A perfect venue to have conversations and chill. The menu is alright. Order from the indian section (tastes better than the chinese). You need to try the sesame pockets and chicken, remember to add the chilli sauce to unlock a new level of flavour.The staff are polite and courteous.The only downside of this place is their restroom. It was clean but I was quite disappointed that they had only one toilet - yep just one toilet in a restaurant. They need to do better.

Lovely ambience, friendly staff, in the corner of Ilupeju coming through obanikoro. Its located in a quiet area and the only issue I can see is the parking. We sat upstairs where there is a nice view of the neighbourhood
