Busy place full of economic activities. But be aware of street urchins.
Lagos is a very busy city... 🚦🚙🚗🚐🚚🚓🚕🛺 You just have to hold your heads up and focus on where you heading to....Festac Town is a busy one....
Once upon a time, it uses to be the toast of the city. A beautiful, lovely , well planned layout with all the amenities, services and structure in place. For the absence of a university, one could leave an entire life without leaving its confinesA enviable mini city. Now the story is quite different.Hopefully the moves to restore it to its past glory take hold.
FESTAC TownAmuwo Odofin Local Government.Sectioned into the Estate and Getto side.
Festac town is one of many federal government of Nigeria’s housing projects in Lagos. It was originally built for the hosting of FESTAC 77 (festival of Arts and Culture) that was held in Nigeria in 1977. The town that used to be the pride of a nation is now a ghost of itself that needs to be renovated.
Nice estate but the access roads need rehabilitation. A good place to train your kids to adolescence
Every were is good and the road is clear
A very good environment with good security and transport network.
Great place well organized building and arrangement.. but the roads are a little bit bad
Best business hub and best place to get both local and international transports with full AC. Both Nigeria and Across West Africa.
Federalh housing authority. Houses several business like golden tulip hotel, shoprite, etc. Inner road getting bad. Authority should be aware.
Festac Town is a government housing estate. It has been an old estate but has been well managed such that even as old as Festac is, it still look neat. The streets and roads and houses are well numbered such that locating a street, road or house is very easy. It is well secured as almost all the closes has security guiding the entrance. They allow passage of Okada riders, tricycles to some limits. The buildings are mostly bungalows and blocks of flats.
Well planned community. The roads network and drainage is good just need some commitment to maintain the structure
Nice place to be, with a lots of fun
Festac is a cool place to be. The road are well tied with good building plans
Nice place to be but the LGovt should wirk on internal roads.
Bad roads everywhere... Government should do more by providing at least good roads for residents and visitors
Nice place to visit, its actually festival town
Lovely place just like an island
Nice place to stay and chill.
Not well organised but generally peaceful
Of course its our town... home of all good things with the right cultural blend. Night life is cool around here, but shine your eyes...
Not an easy place to navigate through as a first time visitor. You definitely need Google map here 😂
Festac town is a cool place, they have almost every thing u are looking for, nice houses, cool hotel, cool bars, cool clubs, nice services centre, but men there road isnt the best I think there local authorities should look into redoing that road.

Very good environment
Festac roads are getting bad daily and the local government chairman is absolutely nothing about it. So bad...
Cool and calm environment.Nice place to relax, live and have fun
Festac Town is peaceful full of Hotels $ Night clubs. Food items are costly.
Its a peaceful environment with diverse business within it
Very warm, basically everything you need is in Festac town
Overcrowded area, with poor road network, power and lightning
Very busy bus top
Festac axes are very wet and cool weather
The roads leading to and inside the town are horrible
One of the old estates in Lagos. Not well maintained again.
Yes l was, l took a bike to second rainbow bus stop to get a bus to Oshodi.
The journey is smooth till you get to alakija and youre grounded to a halt cos of the traffic.
Quiet and calm, the residential buildings are alright. I think the most impressive thing for me are the roads; make sense.
Its a wonderful place to be...
Nice area great people, beautiful girls 😉
It was a beautiful experience been in festac town
Festac is very beautiful and well planed residential town. The drainage system is the best in Lagos. The whole area is neat and specious . In fact its a nice place to live.
I really enjoy using Google Map it helped me alot thats why I am giving it to five star
Great and well structured estates
Cool during raining season
Ideal place to live
The access roads are not easy to connect. The government needs to fix the roads and other connecting routes on that axis.
Apple junction always busy and going back to Lagos Island from Festac town via Apapa - Badagry express way from 4pm down is hectic, because of the traffic posed by the heavy duty trucks... The traffic is rough and your car may get scars with the absence of traffic officials, ppl drive any how just to leave that area.
Not what I heard about it..its actually the opposite
Crowdy but passable.Traffic not that much high. But watch for crazy and reckless bus and bike drivers
Very very interesting 😀
Nice houses,
Nice town...too many pple
One of the worst roads in Lagos. No maintenance culture.
I normally take bus from there if Im going to badagry or if Im going to happen junction I can take bike
I grew up within the Estate
Lovely.. Well organised but few bad roads within the town
A unique estate.
Festac city. Very lovely. A cool place for an average man budget.
Mother & child hospital Festac, is a good hospital to give birth in
Cool but bad roads
Mostly safe
The development there is one to be reckoned with, good accessible roads and enjoyable lifestyle
Lovely place
Good place
Nice town to be
Clean, Secure and Developing environment.
Very good and strong in connection
A safe place to live/lodge/engage in businesses. It has seven major roads which are: First Avenue, Second Avenue, Third Avenue, Fourth Avenue, Fifth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, and Seventh Avenue. The electronics hub in Festac is located at 512 road. You can get food and clothes at 23 road market which is being reconstructed from the year 2021 - 2022. A two bedroom flat costs 10 million naira, and rentage costs 600,000 naira pa. The most available job in Festac is Teaching which fetches an average of 50,000 naira pa. The most lucrative business is running of restaurants and the trading. The less secured part of Festac is 6th Avenue. This is because of the canal at 6th avenue which gives access to boats which are not being monitored/regulated.
