Not too well maintained. Linen isnt sparkling white, though clean and good bathroom and water pressure is great.Food very very unreasonably highly priced. Room was tiny.

Loved it, set in a beautiful gated development. I felt very safe and secure. The staff were amazing. This is without a doubt the best hotel in Nigeria that I have stayed so far. But for a few maintenance job I would have given this hotel a 5 star. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed with my wife in their deluxe room in the annex building and we enjoyed our stay. I love that the place is secure (inside some kind of estate) and close to Walter Carrington. They had a complementary breakfast too.

The once brilliant Villa Angelica has become a mean money-grubbing machine.. Our Company booked standard room for incoming staff from the website. The room he got was a tiny room with disgracefully dirty linen. HOW ARE THE MIGHTY FALLEN.

Ive stayed there a couple of times and I assure its home away from home. Their staff are sufficiently dedicated and would do everything possible to keep you at rest. I would definitely visit again.

The deluxe suit at the annex B was so poor with a cramped toilet. I had to walk a long distance from the reception to my room.

The room was adequate and the provision of a kettle and beverages was a nice gesture. However, the only way you can get water into the kettle is by stepping into the bath which is far from ideal. The sockets and switches were mainly behind the bedside cabinet and under the table. The TV remote was quite worn and there were a few broken hooks in the bathroom which made it a bit off putting. Other than that is was clean and well presented.

Very nice and clean rooms. Great location. Excellent customer service. All the staff were very helpful, warm and welcoming. Had a few issues with appliances in the room not working but a quick call to the front desk had the maintenence staff on the case with repairs and replacements in very short order. All in all I had a very positive experience with Villa Angelia and I would certainly stay here again.

The prices dont warrant the space and service you get. And alot of things where broken or havent been replaced.

Villa Angelia Hotel is a home away from home, it is quit homely well furnished with rooms according to your financial capacity. The location is safe and quit. They offer complimentary breakfast and their staffs are well cultured. We lodged for a wedding and they have nice place for pictures.

A bit more homely than regular. Serene and great if youre looking for a good level of privacy and quiet. Standard rooms are comfortable, not spacious but comfortable. There is an annexe across the road but the rooms there seem a bit tighter. Staff cordial and service not so awkward but could be better.

Located in the heart of Ikoyi, it has some decent rooms and are affordable. Each room equipped with water heater, television, electric kettles. Courteous staff and tasty but a bit pricey menu. Bathing water leaves the skin white. Serene and quite environment. Altogether a nice experience.

Its truly a home away from home

The Villa Angelia Boutique hotel is a small probably cosy roomed hotel space. I did not visit with intentions to spend a night but to watch the football match being aired in their bar cum open space which is situated by the corner or the building. This area is small as well and can be expanded by not letting cars park so close. I think it can comfortably take a group of friends of 10 however, the parking space is limited as well but the area is gated and one can park on the streets. The available meals will be communicated once you are at the venue. I had the smoked fish pictured below and I must commend the lady who made it. Service from the staff in waiting is not fantastic and you may need to follow up yourself. The area is cozy but can get rowdy as the crowd is not filtered. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. No fresh juices or smoothies available here. It was really average.

Its an ok place if youre planning to stay in ikoyi for pocket friendly rates.

The rooms are cozy and the environment is serene. Really enjoyed the place. But the walk to the rooms are really long and unnecessary especially where you have loads to carry and none of the guards are around to help

The extension where we stayed was very noisy. A wedding party had checked in too and made noise all evening, night into the morning. No sleep! Complaints to the hotel reception appeared to have fallen on deaf ears. Tiny room, with no table, no wardrobe, and hardly space to wiggle around, and carefully too. Not a place I will spend more than a night in if I have a choice. Didnt enjoy my stay at all!

First thing that hits you is the diffuser fragrance at the reception and the temperature change. Very cool place for a quiet get away within the city. Love the indoor pool with soft music, swimming at night is always lovely. Anyway, customer service can be better but all in all, love the place.

If you want to book this hotel because of the nice pictures you saw, be rest assured youre in for a mighty big disappointment. You will be taken to some place that looks like a cheap hotel on mainland.The nice hotel you saw online with good looking rooms and a nice pool isnt where youll pass the night.In my experience, we paid online only to arrive at night, we were led to the annex. Its a few blocks away from the main hotel. It has a different name but still features Villa Angelia. When we walked into the reception it looked like a 4k hotel on mainland. The hallway leading to the room is narrow and dark. The rooms are terrifyingly small. The bathroom is ugly af. We tried to inquire about the deception, portraying one thing online and serving another. We were told blatantly that they are the same as though we were blind. We spent one night instead of 4. Who wants to willingly give their money to a liar and be made to look like a fool.

Spent a night here on a business trip. The room was smaller than Im used to, for the price I paid. Probably because its Ikoyi. If you like space, dont stay in the Deluxe or Standard rooms.My room was neat, comfortable. Amenities e.g. fridge, a/c, kettle, water heater worked well. Water pressure in bathroom was fair. Space was cramped though. No provision in wardrobe to hang clothes.Laundry service is good. But not for budget travel.Restaurant was nice, cosy. Food is somewhat expensive. Again, not for budget travel. There are restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance though, as I discovered the next morning.Staff were friendly, welcoming.Its a good place for a 1-2 day trip. Not for family vacations.

Small, affordable and quiet. Located in a prime and strategic location to give easy access to road, yet located away from the road. However, the facilities are average, the ambience is average, the attitude of the staff is also average. The hotel seems to be straddling the line between prime and sub par.
