Date of stay: July 2017This hotel is located in Victoria Island, with nearby market and restaurants, they offer breakfast, there is a restaurant in the hotel, there are a small pool and a tiny training room (not a gym), they gave me a discount on my stay and they have upgraded my room as a compliment from the management.Now, let me explain the reason I gave it a poor rating: the room had a lot of broken things, and that is not even my issue, my issue is that I had to call 3-4 times on each broken thing to get it fixed, I had some cleanliness issues, and finally the worst thing was the attitude and behavior of most employees, starting from the reception, maintenance, room service...etc, they were rude, challenging, and treated me like I dont know what I am talking about.The smoking rooms are on the second floor, so there is no view, the side I was staying in is close to the generators I guess, and on Mondays, a very loud truck comes at night while guests are sleeping to fill the tanks, I am not actually sure if that is what it does, but the important thing is that this happens every Monday according to the receptionist, this was his excuse when I complained about the noise.

It is a cool and decent hotel. The rooms are very neat and clean. The bath very sparkling. The staff are friendly. Parking can be an issue when the place is half full. The POS machine were not working when I got there so get some backup cash when going there.

Great stay, optimum facilities. I dont quite appreciate the terrible condition of the access road however. Theres sufficient parking space on the inside as well as outside just in case theres no more space inside. The hotel is secured by physical perimeter fencing and security personnel who are mostly at the gates. The ambience goes to cool once you step inside the building.

Your experience at an hotel starts from the gate, noticed this hotel for the first time October 2018 and was like see the view from the top will be dope, then December I was chanced to lodge and the view was lovely.The security were nice even when it there job same goes to the receptionist lovely and professional, the interiors was nice and the view from the elevator was lovely. Highly recommended

Very pretty decor. Quiet for the part of town its located in. Accessible to art and nightlife if required. The staff could make an effort to be more pleasant though.

Nice place for a corporate as well as social events with great view and hospitality.The entrance is accessible to all, its wheelchair accessible and its elevator to.Made of glass with nice serene view as you ascend the building.It has in house Automated Teller Machine, with aesthetics reception, meeting rooms, event halls and well trained personnel to run things.

This used to be a nice place to go tuck into but lately Im not so sure, it doesnt feel 4 star anymore. The extras are no longer there. Theres a huge sign on the mirror that speaks to guest towel theft, while i understand that some guests are piss takes but other hotels provide a different communication strategy to address the theft. Avenue suites needs to look into it.

I dont recommend if you book through phone reservation you are in trouble misunderstanding is there 100% even if you ask 3 times and you have called 1 day before the reservation to confirm the accommodation nobody will take the blame they will say to u is your fault. when you arrive they will give you story for upgrade your room without asking you just to take your money 4 star hotel noway.advice choose another Hotel easily. Spent your money somewhere else.

Nice place....Beautiful view. Good service delivery. But I had a leakage from the Air conditioner that flooded a part of the room overnight.

Excellent hotel - rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. The food is of good quality but the breakfast options may not be to the taste of all Europeans. That however is a minor point and I would strongly recommend Avenue Suites.

Nice Ambience

Worst customer service ever! Have no consideration towards their guests and are uncompromising. I ate dinner at their restaurant the night before, woke up sick the next day, asked for breakfast to be served in my room because I cant go downstairs, they told me they will charge a full meals fee regardless of the fact that we had already paid for a complimentary breakfast. How difficult is it to have a surcharge to bring up the food than to charge me for an entire meal, by the way the breakfast I order was fruit, juice and coffee! Never received it, even after explaining to 5 of their employees including the front desk manager. I will be notifying my company and all my clients to never, ever use the place. I actually had an entourage of 10 people that I would have placed there from Jan 6 to April 7 2020 had they been decent but now, theres nothing they can do to change my mind. Just disgusting outlook and treatment. There are much better hotels first all and then better service. Im not impressed by the rooms either, the wifi is weak, cellphone network is poor in their building. A business travelers nightmare. Spare yourself the grief and dont stay there.

Clean, well-maintained facilities, courteous staff. Hotel is easily accessible on the Victoria Island. The views are fine, not far from the Old Bar Beach near the Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel is very nice in the heart of Victoria Island, although the food isnt as great. Of course this varies by taste buds. There was no window in the room I stayed in, which I found very strange for a hotel of that clout. Beyond that, the room was aesthetically pleasing.

The management team of Avenue Suites are doing great job. Well organise,manage, and secure. Responsible and Friendly to every customers that step-in for enquiries or booking. Interior design is awesome and classical. Less i forgot to mention, theres an Emergency Exit Room @ every floor. It really safe for confidential meetings

The staff should really be commended for their good work. They were very professional in carrying out their duties, the hotel environment was very calm and beautiful. Also the room I booked online was unavailable when I got to the hotel, so I was given a better room at the same price. It was a fantastic experience at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Nice facilities. Delicious complimentary breakfast. The stay was peaceful and enjoyable. Staff was very attentive and helpful too. I liked the location being so close to restaurants, and other fun places. It was not as close to the beach as I prefer, but a quick uber ride is all one needs. I highly recommend this hotel for a lagos vacation especially if one is partial to staying on the island.

They have about the most gentle sloped stairs Ive ever seen - you wont want to use the lift!Pleasant staff too.They get a thumbs down for power/electricity failure though. Power outage/change over sometimes i times within an hour!!!

Great hotel, setup in a well structured building with good safety measures. The rooms are specious and the meal is okay, but not over the top fantastic. The staff of the hotel are courteous; making your stay a memorable one. The high rise building also has a great view overlooking the city and Eko Atlantic just around the corner.

This hotel didnt live up to my expectations. My room was missing pillow cases. I had to call the reception when I couldnt reach house keeping. Hot water from the shower wasnt hot enough for me. Buffet breakfast was okay. Covered all the basics of national and intercontinental breakfast. Though the staff were friendly.

The view! Thats the first thing really. From your rooms, you can look down on the old bar beach and Adetokunbo Ademola, leading to Eko Hotel...The service is fantastic every time. Ive been there about 5? maybe 6 times - every time with my wife. We go there for weekend getaways, birthday celebration etc etc.Good food too. Not a 5/5, but definitely below average and very chill.

I arrived from USA on October 6, 2019, and checked into a Deluxe room during my entire stay in Lagos --- I departed for the US on October 26, 2019. This is my 4th stay at The Avenue Suites. The high quality of service and attention to details from the staff is impeccable. I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Lagos but The Avenue Suites.Kudos to the Managing Director for recommending safe and exciting places to visit in Lagos.

The AVENUE suits has a lot of great meals and drinks as well as 🍸 cocktails. They serve to guests upon request and service is very fast and the one i love most is the smoothies as it is made in front of guests leaving them to choose fruits and vegetables of their choice.

I hope someone important sees this. Your buffet breakfast is horrible, stale, cold dry food always, no variety nothing. Its better to add N1000 or N2000 to your rates and give quality breakfast than the rubbish you guys serve. Please do something about it.

Once a hip, vibrant hotel Avenue Suites has been hit by the prevalent Nigerian disease called poor maintenance. Bathroom had issues, called the staffs attention to it and was told renovations are on-going so hopefully my next visit will be better.

This a a world class hotel with top notch services and facilities. The rooms are perfect as well as their meals.
