On arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the room I had reserved was unavailable and that I will be upgraded to an executive suite.The executive suite was in a disused and dirty state. The intercom did not work. The bathroom was a mess. The rug harbours bed bugs. The bedsheets were bleached. I was offered a felt cloth to cover the curtains because people could see what was going on from outside. After 40 minutes, the Air conditioner had not kicked in and on reporting this, the receptionist has the audacity to tell me that 1. I was upgraded to an executive suite. 2. That I should manage the rather noisy fan for the evening.Placido is not a budget hotel, it is a dingy inn that is not fit for use.

The place is probably the most lowkey to have a good time. They have a pool where you can cool off on a sunny day and swimming trunks available for rent.Standard rooms are also available for overnight lodging although theres no short time service. They have peppersoup and drinks being sold for reasonable prices as well. The overall experience at the place is a great one and they let you play your own music!!! 😎

Customer services on point. Small quiet and cozy, swimming pool and nice rooms. Lovely prices. Try the pepper soup.
