Privately-located and cosy hotel. Neat and spacious rooms with friendly and caring staff. Parking space is really small so you have to park outside the gate, although the security guards are up and doing. Good place to stay if you need affordable privacy.

Diamond Hotel is a boutique hotel, small but beautifully and tastefully furnished. The reception is spacious and relaxing. The room are reasonably sized and clean.The employees are friendly and ready to help if in need, there is a meeting room that could easily seat 30-50 theatre style.The food is fantastic! Not a meal eaten here that was not well made and presented.Diamond hotel is highly recommended.

This was a beautiful hideout! Their customer service was good enough, complaints were swiftly responded to. I liked the internal architecture of it, its actually a multi-level building even though the approach view says otherwise. And here, for every booking you make theres breakfast (of your choice) attached. Their rates are moderately priced in comparison with whats obtainable in its vicinity.

Its a nice place

To be honest Diamond Hotel did not stray far from some of the failings of customer service that happens in Nigeria. Went to spend a night there so to get a decent night of sleep and upon entering the room, noticed how hot and humid it was. Funny enough, mentioned this to staff who admitted that the Air Conditioning had not been turned on in a while. Was told to wait some more time and was courteous enough waiting in the lobby until an hour later when the staff admitted the AC wasnt working and switched to another with exactly the same problem! Waited courteously and didnt make a fuss yet this went on for another 3 hours after which I decided enough was enough and went to another hotel to pay more money to get a good nights sleep. Sadly staff did not even bother to take record of the incident properly and the manager had the affontry to insist that her hotel policy is the customers word against the staff even though there is a fully working CCTV to check what really happened, I must say I am disappointed the manager is condescending, patronising and didnt even accept fault as to the lack of working air conditioning in their hotel. Can Nigeria change when it comes to customer service? Maybe but Diamond Hotel would need to get a complete management restructure to even understand the word! Perhaps as one mobile phone salesman told me, if you pay for Samsung you get Samsung if you pay for Techno you know the money you spent is not enough. In order words, Diamond Hotel must be suffering from low level budget syndrome so cannot rise above.
