When you go to the hospital, part of the healing process is the environment aside from the professional health care that the hospital staff give to you but NO that is a luxury here.In 3 days, we (my son who is the patient and I) were moved to 3 different rooms, the first; room 7(arguably the best) was a 2 man room with some semblance of an accommodation until we were conned to move to room 10 due to an administrative blunder of overcrowding/over admitting of patients, now this room 10 should be scrapped and I mince no words, it is a 3 man room with little or no space to navigate, no working intercom, no functioning bell system to call the nurses, it had an air-conditioning unit that only did its function at night when the weather was cooler and of course the toilet with no wash hand basin and a very bad smell probably coming from a proper venting system. After continued insistence & persistence from within (myself and wife) and externally our HMO (AVON) , we were moved to the third room Adult ICU(an after thought of a room in my opinion), which housed some laboratory equipment, had a leaking air-conditioner, a non functioning bell system to call the nurses. As for the medical attention, the doctors seemed to grasp what needed to be done especially the consultant surgeon for the operation that got my son admitted who was done with the procedure before we could even realise it, as for the nurses, well let us say, you only get a reflection of what the countrys educational system churns out, a paediatric nurse is meant to be amiable and give the child succour in his period of pain/discomfort but what do I know, get up and handle your business seemed to be the vibe I was getting from some of the nurses. Now if this was a humanitarian agency where all these services where for free then one might understand the somewhat lack luster attitude of some of these nurses but for a business that delivers services that are paid for and want to remain competitive, these personnel would need re-training in handling patients. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest and 1 lowest in ranking, Ill be magnanimous and give this establishment a 4 and hope that this review/feedback would help the management of the hospital to take bold steps to improve the all round quality of service delivery in that hospital

I received the worse service on earth. It’s a pity your Customer Service is poor and frustrating. How can you asked me to come for an appointment at 1pm just for you to tell me that the surgeon will be coming at 2pm.I didn’t get an apology for Lying to me about the surgeon appointment time . I waited for over 1 hour. It’s just a pity that I came here. This will be the last time I visit this hospital. You really have to work on booking appointment as this is a jet age. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Used Citizens for about 2-3 years as it’s close to my office. Nice doctors and staff. Requesting to see a specialist particularly on HMO can be a challenge. I would also suggest they move the kitchen out of the main building .

Quite professional. Seems a lot of HMO send their clients here for surgical consultation. Need to have more electrical outlets for patients to charge.Parking is difficult now due to the ongoing drainage work on the street.

If one wants to die prematurely or you are listening to referer that citizen medical centre is the best then u are gone for, is not about the building, the doctors are quacks, fake nurses, equipment zero, all they know is to treat malaria n maybe to abort. I wonder why they cant investigate bad hospital and seal them up ... Inducing a pregnant woman without knowing her pregnancy history from her antenatal hospital and that is not yet due for delivering to Labour n still inducing without informing the husband or the family. You are all mad all citizen medical staff and the owner. God punish una

Horrible hospital that is managed by incompetent doctors and lazy wicked nurses . Hospital environment is dirty with outdated equipment. I will not recommend this hospital to my worst enemy as the doctors are only concerned about the money. Please stay away if you value your life of the life of your loved ones.
