One of the best spot in Lagos for true artistic expressions. A good place to chill out, relax and be free from the stress that comes with being in Lagos.

Perfect scenery and ambience for the collectivity of art, in human form through music/poetry performances, or in visual forms through the display of fine art materials. This is an ideal place to get the best of tranquility through the overlay of beautiful plant species.

For a lover or any art related stuff like me, this place is heaven, theres too much to behold, too many wonderful decorations, to see.I was once there for their open mic show and I wished it never ended, they have pretty much everything showcased, from paintings to sculptures. If youre a lover of art, I would suggest that you check them out sometime.

It was a fun filled relaxation spot that attracts young people. It’s a good place for networking and socialising with peers. It has good ambience and wonderful aesthetics. There are quite a number of picture taking spots that makes the visits memorable. The restrooms are clean and the surroundings are kept tidy. I think the only thing missing is a pool 😁

AAF is the real MVP. Sometimes, I just drive to Victoria Island and pull over at AAF just to check if I could stumble upon one art programme or another. They never disappoint. You will love the unusual interior design and prop arrangements. The beautifully crafted doors, benches, stools and all. The toilet downstairs is strangely my favourite past-time. Do not visit AAF without checking out that stunning little space. It is amazing how photos are arranged on the walls and all over the place. There is a beautiful lobby at the back of the building. Open mics sessions, poetry reading etc happen there periodically. This is easily one of my favourite places in Lagos.

Amazing artistic space. Love the exhibition that showed and the aesthetics. Quite a laid back and quiet place for chills if youre a photography and generally an art lover. Theres not much to do though. Just admire the work, grab a drink. A lot of details clearly went into the buildings and decorations. Hangouts are organised from time to time so look out for one.

The African Artist Foundation (AAF) has a ground floor which serves as office area. The first floor has an exhibition area, and veranda with seating arrangement . The convenience is on the first floor. The outdoor area has a courtyard with chairs. The front of the building, and the rooftop beside it are also equipped with seating arrangements. It has various spots for people to mingle, relax, and/or get work done. The green space has a quiet, relaxing ambience. It usually plays hosts to art exhibitions, music performances, and the like. Parking space is limited.
