This is a Jamaican food store that sells different types of Jamaican dishes. If you love the Rastafarian songs, you may as well taste their food in Jamski.They have dishes like Oxtail, jerk chicken, curry goat and run punch.Their prices are moderate and its something you can afford.

Excellent customer service. Great food. The starters...fantastic: barbecue chicken, dumplings and sweet potato something... Then the main dish... really nice. Something different in Lagos....

So I’ve been hearing of Jamski’s patty so I finally had a chance to try it when my friend Emeka came back from the UK.When I got in, I met Uncle Emmanuel who showed me around and recommended the chicken patty. It was so so good.I’m definitely going back to try the beef patty.

The only things missing - waves crashing in the background and a caribbean sunset.I love JA and the moment you step foot into this place it feels like a spot you would walk into after spending your day at the beach - very island feel. The Jamaican music playing, vintage placemats, brightly colored decor and the warm island greeting.Ive had the jerk pork (perfectly seasoned, juicy,) oxtails ( I wanted to drink the gravy when I finished my rice - well marinated with a nice spice kick)shrimp patty (from the color of the patty alone, I knew I was going to devour it, perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside. Just succulent marinated whole shrimps in every bite) curry fish (this was a light meal, I didnt feel too full after eating), and coconut peas and rice (I personally am not a fan of coconut rice, but this was delicious.....all delicious.I convinced my co-workers to order lunch from Jamski and they all asked why did I keep this place a secret.Mr. Obs and Princess, are very hospitable!The rum punch, will punch you. Youve been warned, but its yummy.

I miss home food so I love having Jamski in Lagos. Good food, but pricey, worth the try...The atmosphere is always relaxed and has a real homely feel. Decor, music and entertainment general makes me miss Jamaica.I would recommend Jamski patties & their sorrel; lovely. My +1 recommends the wings (every single time).If you dont like waiting I would encourage you to call and order ahead.

Small, intimate and unassuming place. I wasnt sure I was at the right place initially... but I was in for a pleasant surprise :). Excellent food, excellent customer service! The owner saw to us (and everyone else) personally, was very affable and was patient in helping us make our choices.

Interesting cocktails, and very very tasty meals peculiar to Jamaica. Usually less crowded which makes for a good location for private dining. Decent traditional inspired decor with the obvious touch on Jamaican colors and graffiti.

Sad that a Jamaican run establishment can not produce authentic Jamaican food. I make better jerk than they and that just is not acceptable. The beef patty is absolutely not an authentic beef patty. Definitely not going back again.

Nice place, I like the Jerk chicken very much. Very Reggae atmosphere. Looking forward to the celebration of Bob Marleys birthday celebration come Feb. 5th at the restaurant. Visit the place....youll be glad you did.

Come here for an authentic Jamaican dining experience with real ginger beer and piping hot Jamaican Patties. The chefs recommend the Brown Stew Oxtail and the Jerk Chicken. Im partial to their patties.
