Yes Lagos island market is chaotic but a place where you can buy a lot of things from bridal accessories at Tom Jones to places where you can get house accessories at Idumagbo to places where you buy clothes at Balogun at better prices because they all sell wholesale.So if you are visiting dress sporty for the hustle and bustle of the market.

It was a really rogue and rough journey through all the bumps, gallops, all the honks and peeps, not to even talk of the traffic.....ughhh. The sellers really advertised, but in the end of it all, it was worth it. ^ - ^

Its very okay, Idumota market is one stop market for anything a person can need. This bridge is usually free of traffic on normal days in the morning through till afternoon

The Bridge is quite fine but for traffic induced hawking around the corridor. No security threats as police vehicles & bike is stationed around for prompt response to distress.

Lagos Island bridge uhmm, there are various bridge called Lagos island, but I assume this is Idumota and its always busy, fun and stressful as different local traders are positioned at every corner selling stuffs at cheap rates.

You will get everything you want here but prepare to be stressed out.

One of the most important structures/Landmark in Lagos State. This bridge is one of the major links to and fro the Island. Usually with heavy traffic in the morning to the Island and likewise in the evening coming back to the mainland. This bridge is one of the longest bridges in Africa and currently quite old with need for maintenance and constant supervision.

Its been my expectations because I cant stll imagine how it is.....

This hotel is good to some extent considering the location.... but the owners decided to put a wrong address on the map.... the map took me to Ipakodo, it was one woman there that told me that people have been coming to ask where the hotel, thats when i knew that Im not the only victim of that... its good, it has an event centre... so its good for occasion lodging. Nice rooms too and its not too pricey.

One of the many bridges linking the island to the mainland. This particular one is called the Cater bridge. It leads directly to Idumota which is a very big market for different items. Almost everything can be found here. From pharmaceuticals to clothing, food, building materials. Just name them and you will find them here. It is a place to visit. You will love it.

One of the busiest market in Nigeria,you can buy anything you wish,at the least expected priceStill the I must complain about it environ,the displace of dirty and urination on the bridge make it hazardous to human health.I would suggest the government look more into the environmental sector ,for the safety and healthwise of traders,commuters,and those living thereAlso look at the levy imposed on traders at the market

Rainy seasons are bad times to visit this play, this is because of poor environmental sanitation. 6:00am Nigeria time is the most suitable time to be at this place and 4:00pm is the best time to leave the environment for a stress-free day.

I prefer this bridge to third mainland bridge I dont know why... But its smooth for me despite complaints of different kinds of traffic and the likes. So many times I get to decide which route or the best between this and the other one linking us home! But Ive mastered this place now and love taking the route

An excellent environment

This bridge connects communters on foot and vehicles from Yaba/Oyingbo to Idumota market. Its a very fast route when there is no traffic. However, it can be a sore spot as traffic is rife here. But its good to go early in the morning if you need to connect the idumota market or 3rd mainland bridge is blocked. It also leads to Victoria Island.

If its for shopping, then buckle your shoe for a long walk. I had such walk today and it was quite interesting anyway. I would give it a try again.

The human and vehicle traffic on this bridge is usually high. Parking space on the bridge is usually very difficult. My first time visiting Lagos and the idumota market, I was surprised when I had to pay 500 for a parking space. It was a good experience though, seeing the throng of people going about their daily hustling for a living was intriguing. You also have to be very smart, fast and vigilant as you could run into miscreants.

Good road to link to island

A place to avoid unless you are shopping. This is the gateway to the most busy market in Lagos. You can bearly walk without a push and hagglers calling you to check the goods on sale. Traffic all day except before 7am and Sundays . Avoid at late night as it can be deserted.

Mad traffic everywhere,Its a nightmare..Unless its totally necessary and you can handle the stress of the traffic,l advise you stay away from the Island for now.....its not a pleasant experience

Longest bridge in west Africa. In case of an emergency, theres RRS always on the bridge. Traffic is usually heavy on work days early in the morning and theres no diversion.

Well.. To be sincere that bridge is a very very very busy bridge, infact its so busy that people get down from the Danfo buses anyhow without reaching their stop. Theres usually a tight traffic jam🥵😩, its almost like a no go area at times😩, the situation there is bad, this can be attributed to the much population in Lagos.☹️

There are not too many potholes on the bridge like we have in most part of Lagos. So you can drive at the normal speed so desired, thereby reducing the traffic on the bridge during the off peak periods.
