Popularly known as CBG, the department of Cell Biology and Genetics has seasoned Academic and Non-teaching Staff that are passionate about producing graduates that can compete with their contemporaries locally and globally. For now, they have one BSc programme but their MSc and PhD Cell Biology and Genetics programmes have three areas of specialization- Environmental Biology, Genetics and Molecular Biology. They also admit people into their post graduate diploma in Genetic Counselling and Forensics programs.
