If you have a small business you are running,FLEE FROM Shoptomydoor n ShiptoNaija ,they never deliver on their deadline of delivery.Placed a Shop For Me order since 25th of March n after making me wait 3Whole months for my order,they told me they couldnt find the products I paid them to purchase for me then first offered to pay me exact amount I paid them 3months ago for the procurement(at the exact exchange rate too,dollar was 485 when i paid then,now dollar is 512 n they still want to pay me back 485naira).After i refused they then offered a $100 compensation fee on $1400 they held on to for 3months.They try to use every oppotunity to scam people out of their monies and will frustrate you.

Deal at your own risk!Their weighing and pricing model is confusing - They tell you they use the actual weight and the package size(whatever that means). At the end of the day, you cant beat the feeling that you were shafted. I was forced to send my items back to the vendors in the UK, because the shipping cost alone made it not worth my while.They charge you $5 on every package they receive as some sort of handling fee. So, if you place an order with Amazon and they deliver in 20 different bags AT THE SAME TIME, these people will insist on you paying $5 for every separate bag, even when its just 1 item inside. Other shippers I have used charge a one-off fee regardless of how many packages they receive on your behalf.Then their endless emails informing you that your free storage of 2 weeks will soon end and youll start incurring storage fees. It continues to run, even when you are trying to ask questions and theyre not responding.Their customer service would rather argue back and forth endlessly with you, than give an inch. They stick to their position even when it doesnt make sense and will never admit wrong.I sent a shipment from the US, which I finally received after all the aggravation they caused. They refused to pay for my shipment to come to my pick up point, although they failed to deliver as at when due. This was more than 6months into covid and they failed to update their estimated shipping times. I informed them I was due to travel the next day and they insisted I send someone to their office near the airport to pick up... from Ajah! For an inconvenience, that was their fault.The one star is because I got my items intact and well thats the lowest I can give.

Sent my request for delivery- air basic, 27th, Feb, 2021. Today is 16th March and i still do not have it. SHould have shipped directly from Amazon. S2MD shipping fees were more than the total cost of the item. Their valuation of the item was also higher than the invoice clearly said it was (until i sent a message). Cannot help but think that somehow influenced my absurd pricing. I used American Air Sea Cargo many many years ago and honestly thought the service was still the same.

1. Shoptomydoor is one of the few company I know that provides its customer an stress free shipping experience. Starting from the point of drop off at the warehouse to the delivery to my door in Lagos. All I could say is they are good

I placed an order on the 5th of January 2021 to have my item shipped from the U.K to Lagos. Shoptomydoor website said it will take 10 to 15 days to arrive. It is 5th of Feburary and I still have not received my package. The company told me via e-mail there is a delay due to Covid and government restrictions in the U.K. I took them for their word. My brother shipped a package (same weight and shipping rate that I used) using Jand2gidi company on the 19th of January 2021 from the U.K to Lagos and his package arrived on the 1st of Feburary with no delays. Fedex, DHL, Jand2gidi and other carriers are still shipping from the U.K to Nigeria. I have e-mailed shoptomydoor now twice with no response. I would advice using another shipping company if you want early arrival of your package.P.S: Shoptomydoor do not respond to my review with fake apologies and asking for my tracking number to investigate. Just be honest and let me know my item is still in the U.K because you do not have enough cargo demand to ship bulk orders so my package is delayed.

Terrible, terrible experience.First and last.I had sent several items to their warehouse including two small emergency ones which were scheduled for air cargo.The total cost came up to approx $2000 which I paid at the prevailing bank rate. (Interestingly the cost of the air cargo was no less than if I had sent them by DHL or similar.)They insisted that I owed about N8,500 saying that their forex exchange rate was unique and independent of the market. Unbelievable.I asked that the small items be sent in the meantime because of the urgency and they flat out refused. I proceeded to go to the bank to pay the N8,500. The air cargo items arrived many weeks later, long after I needed them. After the ordeal I was sent a refund of N8,500 with much fanfare about how valuable my business is. I cannot adequately express my disgust without the risk of this post being reported.

The costing mechanism they use is hidden in tiny print in the middle of a cluster of trivial information on their already clunky webpages.This is no accident.After my items had arrived in their US warehouse i got an astronomical bill accompanied by the formula they used.Using references it was clear that the prices were exaggerated and I promptly offered to pick up the items.Not surprisingly they refused saying that it had been in their warehouse for X days and that I was already indebted.Bottom line is once they have your cargo they use it as leverage to literally extort.Buyer beware.

All they have are warehouses and an effective online marketing campaign.They exclusively use third party services to which they add a significant premium.I notice that most of the reviews are from local guides.
